On January 31, 2024, I purchased a used ** brand washer and dryer set for $930 and was told included a delivery fee of $30. The delivery was February 1st. The dryer has worked great. However, the washer was loud, vibrated, leaked water, and seemed out of balance. We repeatedly reached out to discuss the issues but got no response. Finally, shortly before March 9th we got a response, and it was decided we would get a replacement used washer delivered. Immediately, the second washer was WORSE! It threw a breaker repeatedly, literally poured out water, the drum was visibly out of balance, and the door didn't shut properly. Our laundry room flooded. We sent texts, videos, and made phone calls but got no response to our emergency until March 11th. The business owner insists the first washer we returned was in good working order and then he flat out refused to address the issues with the second washer despite all of the video proof we sent. We had to stop the second washing machine mid-cycle and drain it to stop the flooding. We ended up having to take our laundry to the laundromat to finish the load and wash all of the towels we used to mop up our laundry room, hallway, and garage. This added another $20 to the debacle. This business (and apparently the owner) was responsive during the sales and purchase process, but once the machines left the property it was all downhill. Very poor communication. Per the invoice, the business we purchased from was called "Quick n easy appliances" located at ***************************************** with a phone number of ************. However, in searching for more information about this business, we found the phone number they use is associated with "The Fridge Shop", so we are sharing our story here. We paid a $100 deposit on 1/31/24, and the balance was paid to "Susano" on Zelle - with the phone number: ************.

Today we ordered two washer and dryers from this vendors. They installed the washer and dryers and then said they wouldnt leave without payment immediately. This wouldn't have been a problem but they only accept cash (ATM limit is $500 per day) or zelle (3-5 days for this large of an amount). They ripped out the washer and dryers and smashed the doors and walls. They should have disclosed payment was due at time or service ahead of time. All other appliance vendors we use (property management company) send invoices and we mail a check. Super unprofessional and inappropriate behavior. They also kept the only washer and dryers. We will also have to pay for the damage they did to our units.

On 2/26/2023, ****** sold us two complete sets of appliances, a Whirlpool set for $1700 and a KitchenAid set for $2300 + $100 delivery. We paid him the money via ***** at his shop, and his worker assured us they would deliver the receipt upon delivery. We have since repeatedly asked for the receipts which he has repeatedly ignored and refused to provide us with. Upon use of the appliances, we learned that many of them are defective (just in our initial use of them). ****** sent his workers to complete the initial repairs for the KitchenAid dishwasher and microwave (per the 90 day warranty he assured us of in his store), but he has since ignored further text messages and phone calls and refused to fix the faulty appliances he sold us which include the KitchenAid microwave (malfunctioning door), KitchenAid dishwasher (malfunctioning wash cycle), KitchenAid stove (malfunctioning temperature sensor), and Whirlpool fridge (completely unoperational initially and now malfunctioning ice maker). He has now ignored our messages and phone calls, and no-showed multiple appointments he set to come fix his appliances. It appears he purchases defective appliances, minimally fixes them, and primarily sells them to contractors who install them for clients and thus hardly use them. The repairs will cost more than the appliances did in total. We are working with an independent appliance repair tech since ****** has lied and effectively stolen our money. In addition to the sale of defective appliances, refusal to honor his warranty policy, and refusal to provide a receipt, his delivery workers also damaged multiple areas of my home during delivery. I have evidence of each one of these claims, acknowledged via text. We are appalled this man still operates his business and seemingly has not faced recourse for violating consumer standards and engaging in deceptive, likely illegal, activity. I
