Ever since Valley Metro has changed their new fare payment system. I have continuously been screwed over by their new system . Because I don't like the banking system . I pay cash for all my items. Well Valley Metro states it's only $4 to ride their busses and rails all day. Let me tell everyone that is a lie. Only you can get away with paying 4 dollars for all day? Is if you use their app online. And if you don't jump on a **** or light rail every 2 hours. You have to pay them another 2 dollars for a ride. And because I only pay cash for all my fares. I pay on a upwards of 12 a day. They give cash payers no transfer tickets ? And like right now after paying $6 today already. I am stuck at ********** and *************. With no **** money . So I can't board any busses until I pay $2 . This is Ludacris! Oh not to mention God forbid you loose anything on a ****. Because I left my cell phone on a bus. It took me 6 days to find out which one of their many lost and founds Valley Metro has. Only to be told that they only hold your property for 7 days? And no one at Valley Mertro knows what happens to your property after 7 days? That sounds pretty scandalous to me! So if you read this today? I will still be on the corner of **** and ********** with no **** fare. Thanks Valley Metro.

Unreliable. With every bus, passengers experience a 50/50 c*** shoot if one will show up within 15 minutes or even at all. I am expected to show up and on time ,5 days a week. This is obviously not Valley Metro's employment policy. A notoriously late driver can work the same shift during rush hour traffic for years. I'm reluctant to make plans to go anywhere on nights and weekends because I am uncertain if I'll have as to ride hope. The final straw was when the the fare box ate a brand new $64 pass when I attempted to validate it. Valley Metro's response was Oops! It's the standard response to all their shortcomings. They steal fare from paying customers while every *** and hoodrat in *************** get complimentary rides. Valley Metro just doesn't care. Passengers are left paying the consequences.

Worst public service ever! Busses are never on time and if by some miracle they are the drivers go extra slow, make unnecessary stops, and do everything in their power to s**** things up. To the few drivers that are doing your job thank you. To the rest of y'all, go get a different job. Clearly you're not happy. Valley metro needs to clean house from the top down and get some people who actually care running this.

******** bus drivers only show up when they want to, skipping over stops along the route. Ive been stranded 4 different times now getting to and from work. Whenever I file a complaint, nothing happens with the driver skipping stops, they still do it. Dont tell folks to ride your transportation lines and then allow things like this to happen. They didnt offer any reimbursement for my fare or anything. **** is a free bus, but the time and distance to get to this point cost me money and time and I use the train and other buses to get to this point. Now, Im missing time and money at work because of this last connection NOT BEING CONSISTENT. If Im on time and ready to go according to YOUR SCHEDULE, then I should expect to get on that bus. Cant do that when you all wont show up. How dare you all still expect folks to abide by a schedule YOU DONT EVEN HONOR. What kind of company is this? No morals or anything just take money from the public and never correct whats wrong. Way too much audacity. Check yourselves.

This review is a long time coming. Back in 2018, my husband who had *********** disease, applied for Dial-a-Ride services for doctors appointments and grocery shopping because we had no car. We arrived by taxi. When my husband was called in for his evaluation, I was told that I was unable to join him. My husband was not the most forthcoming when it came to his health status and health needs (ie. when the neurologist asked him if he fell recently, he said no but he had). We received notice that he was rejected. We had to take taxis or depend on others for assistance. He continued to deteriorate and within 6-8 months, my husband died.I feel that if I had been allowed to be with him, I would have been able to provide additional pertinent information and maybe he would have been able to get this much needed service.

I also have to work for a living & unfortunately, use this bus system that's full of c*** excuses! I checked the times for my stop # ahead of time,as it is already in my phone, leaving a bit early either way,it was close to 1:30 p.m.,I got a time showing 1:42, it was only 1:33 when I was arriving at my stop, the bus was just sitting ********* hurried & that's still 9 min early there & figured it's ahead of SCEDULE,so i' ll get seated now.I get to the bus, after I had crossed the dangerous intersection,& he waits until i' m at the door,to leave,9 min early,& they are not allowed to go until it hits the sceduled time of 1:42, I called customer service, the excuses started, saying that it was a 1:32 bus,EVEN though I was at the bus door, they don't have to wait, you have to be sitting & freezing cold or burning up excessive heat before they get there awhile to be considered "there",which I won't put up with being told,I told her I was early, the sceduled time shows 42,not 32,she said it's a 1:32 bus & that the 42 is not running cause not enough drivers,I told her that's not mine & other customer's problems, she continued as a dumb broken record,I then did too as a smart one, onto their lies,I explained that I prepaid this service & will now take it as high as needed on my complaint cause many issues before & sick if it & hung up on her dumb incompetent sounding voice!

What a sad excuse for a company. They can't staff enough drivers to maintain the posted ride schedule, still blaming Covid after two and a half years. Waiting for a bus for an hour in 110 heat can be deadly. Shame on Valley Metro, I'm amazed they even have the nerve to charge for their "service".

Most unreliable bus system I have ever had the displeasure of having to use! Drivers are rude and give no information. Apps are garbage and inaccurate of scheduled times. Coming home from work at night and it takes 2 hours, for a normaly 58 minute trip tops, since they no longer run like they should. Unprofessional excuses from the drivers like they don't get long enough breaks, or they're understaffed, or my favorite: the company doesn't give us enough time in that district. Transit boxes rarely work to accept your money or swipe your bus pass. With such garbage service, this should be a free community service.
