    I went to the merchant's site looking to buy a legal document. I found the form I required and purchased it for $95.00. I got the document and opened the file. It was a very poorly crafted document with legal errors, grammar errors, and spelling errors. I immediately wrote the merchant and asked for a refund. The merchant ignored my first and second attempts to settle the matter. On the 3rd attempt he responded stating he's been in years for 15 years and basically dismissed me.

    Providing exceptional value to our customers is very important to us and we are sorry to learn this customer was not happy. Unfortunately,we do not agree with their comments on our documents and tried to politely disagree by stating we had been in business for nearly 15 years without complaints. We were not trying to dismiss them.
    We do wish to clarify that there was no request for a refund in the initial email on the date of purchase (1/22/2023) just some generalized comments. We did not receive any other emails until over 5 weeks later on 12/30/2023 and it did request a refund, and stated they would file a complaint if we did not provide one.  Our policy, which was agreed to by the customer at purchase, is no refunds due to being a digital product and therefore cannot be returned.

    The business is quoting their policy of no refunds as a reason for not issuing a refund. What about the policy of truthful advertising and providing the actual document that was paid for? This business seems to have selective enforcement of what policy they may or may not choose to follow. I tried to resolve it. several times before filing the BBB complaint. If the merchant refuses to cooperate I will contact my financial institution to dispute the charge. The document sent to me was not what was advertised or paid for; therefore, the charge was fraudulent.

    Our documents are exactly what is described on our website and we even provide samples of the documents on the website. This is either an attempt by this person to get the product for free or perhaps they simply do not understand the document. Had they simply asked for help instead of waiting over 5 weeks to demand a refund we could have possibly helped them. As a 14 year member of the BBB with zero complaints we believe this demonstrates the quality of our products. We consider this matter closed.
