      We hired Mills Engineering LLC in April 2023. We provided all necessary information for a septic design & site plan. It took several emails, texts, and phone calls to get them to start our project. We finally made payment on 06/06 for the project. The septic design was completed, but the first draft of the site plan still wasn't done. On 08/31, I emailed the project manager, ****************, asking the status, and she stated she would speak with ***** and get an update because it had been several weeks since ***** stated, over the phone, that we would have the first draft. ******* stated she would speak with ***** on 08/31 to find the status of the project. No answer from *******, no response from ***** (same exact problem as before with the septic design). I e-mailed again on 09/02, nothing, e-mailed again on 09/06, still nothing. E-mailed again on 09/13, still nothing. *****, Patch Construction, spoke directly with ***** and was promised a site plan draft to us on 09/20, and still nothing. We keep getting promised the first draft and never receiving it. I finally texted ***, engineer at Mills, on 10/3. He responded he would contact *****. I spoke directly with ***** on 10/6 she stated she would have the first draft to me that day or no later than the end of the weekend. On 10/6, ***** said she would send over the plans to *** to complete the first draft. I asked *** if ***** relayed to him that I was to receive the first draft by the end of the weekend. And he confirmed that she stated that. I texted *** on 10/12 asking if he had any questions. No response. On 10/19, I texted I still had not received anything, *** responded and stated he would give me an update the next day. 10/20, *** stated ***** would give us a plan today, but Monday at the latest. We still have no plan and it is 10/30. They've had our stuff since April and it is October and we still have no site plan. The address on the state website is NOT the address of the business.

      I am fine now.  However, still quote unhappy with the constant lies about completion dates and it taking almost a year for her to finish.

      I entered into a contract with Mills Engineering on 12/14/2020. I have still not received completed and approved plans I paid upfront for half the ** and half the soils. We did get a septic permit after almost a year of calls, texts and constant emails. This permit cost us $1800 and is going to expire next month because this is taking YEARS to complete. We have been given 2 rounds of incomplete plans she knew would not pass and this has cost us $4,378. We have tried EVERYTHING to work with her, we have called, met with her, texted emailed and NOTHING. She has said next week, tomorrow it will be done. I am working on it now, I am working on it tonight, you will have it in the morning. I am beyond frustrated....I cant even imagine what she actually cost us in everything we have put into the project, the house should have been done in 3 years and it have not even started, interest rates have doubled... I will be seeking restitution for all Mills Engineering has cost us.

      We have left a message with ******************* who was the one that asked us to work on this project for grading, even when we suggested he hire a larger company to work on it. 

       

      We have worked numerous hours and several all nighters on this project and cannot get the grading to work with the house and driveway and elevations desired without geotechnical work to show the cut of the rock behind the house will allow a steep slope.  The geotechnical engineer needs access to the site and that requires a grading permit.  Even showing the cut to get access for the geotechnical engineer will change the site to eliminate the natural look of the hillside.  We have sent numerous versions of the plans so it is not true that there was nothing sent.  I explained that we were struggling with the work in a meeting and then in a phone call and explained it would be better for them to hire a larger company. 

       

      The septic permit can be extended one year if needed since it has not been approved and cannot be approved until the site grading and house location and elevation is figured out.  Tell us why here...

      I have 2 1/2 years of messages via text and email saying this will be completed.  The last exchange was on June 17, 2022 and she has yet to respond. There is no way to compensate for the ***** she has cost us on this project. I would like to be compensated for the $ we are out for all the permitting costs and the money we gave her for this project.  *** has worked with ***** and this is not beyond the scope of work she can do, she has just pushed this off over and over and over instead of concentrating on our project u til it was done.  Again this hasnt been over a matter of weeks as the contract promised. This has been ***** of excuses
