      I would give a negative star review if possible. I received a call on my cell phone from someone asking for my husband, when I ask what it was regarding she would not tell me. When I said I was on the National Do Not Call Registry she hung up on me immediately, with no apology or explanation. I called the number back and was told they could not speak with me. My husband got on the phone but they wanted his personal identifying information to speak with them. We had no idea who they were and are not in the habit of giving personal identifying information over the phone to strangers. Admittedly, I lost my temper because I don't appreciate getting unsolicited calls on my phone asking for personal information. Also, being told that the person who hung up on me was having "technical issues", which we know is a lie, really angered me. We do not have any type of late payments or bills in collections, we have never, ever, received any mail correspondence from this company, so I am assuming they were calling regarding someone we know (which I am not sure is even legal). Unprofessional. I noticed in the terms of use" with the BBB, that my name is used by the company to verify I am a customer, but that is the whole problem, they are contacting me and my husband and we are not the "customer" in ***********************.

      This company sent me a collections bill from my old gas company which I had paid off in full. Now they sent me a bill saying that I owe over $1,000. This is ridiculous, what do I do?

      Thank you for contacting the Agency regarding an alleged collection bill from your old gas company that you paid-in-full.  A reasonable investigation was conducted, and we are unable to locate a/any ***-client account under your/the name in this consumer review.  We request that you please provide more information (such as a copy of the letter, the client account number, the *** reference number, the actual name on the account) with that we could do a deeper search to locate such account you referred to.  Nevertheless, at this time, we ask that you please contact Gatestone directly as well as your old gas company to obtain validation information to/and resolve this collection matter/your gas bill.  For privacy, please use the BBB consumer complaint portal.  Best Wishes.

      I'm waiting since November 2022 for my payment to clear in my account. They said it would take a few days but it's been a couple of months. Worst accounting practices I've encountered in settling my mother's estate. This should have been closed out in December.

      Thank you for contacting Gatestone via the BBB portal. Please contact the Agency (as you have done previously) for an update on this SCI account regarding CHQ/ACH payment. Last outbound call to your phone#-ending **** (on 6-JAN-2023) resulted in a busy signal. Previous call/conversation with a live-Agent was on 12-DEC-22 where payment processing was discussed.       I've spoken with this agency 4 or 5 times. The last call said their system has been down for months. I called the contact from a BBB reply today 2/20/23 I'm waiting for a reply., in the meantime I paid the creditor directly ****************** Chapel in ********** **. They are members of *****************

      This company keeps calling me because they say I co-signed a debt. That's news to me. They claim all of this stems from the time I volunteered for the local chapter of the International ********* of ******** Analysis. I resigned from that organization in February of 2020 but the person they claim I co-signed the debt for remained with the organization for another year. Why would I co-sign debt for the president of the organization when I resigned in frustration.
