My wife and I bought an urgent care as an asset purchase in June 2021. We signed up for a continued subscription as a necessary part of the business at the time. We sold the business in June 2023. The new owners have stated they do not want to continue with the **** We tried to contact eMDs to notify them of the change but they continue to email us as if we are responsible for a continued subscription, though we have sold the business and never signed the initial contract. We are not a part of DLA *************** or ********** *********** or any other group that uses the *** in question. We are requesting that they cease contacting us regarding this.

Thank you, but it seems that someone from *********, ***** and ******** (apparently a collection agency) has been trying to reach us **** ******* *********) regarding this claim.  If you took us off the account as you say, why would they be contacting us about it?

Hi, if there was an open amount in the past, most likely GGR is trying to collect it. Just point them to the new owner or whoever should be responsible for the fees after you sold it. Thank you.

Thanks, but there are actually no valid charges.  No service has been provided since 2023 and therefore there was no loss to ****.  It is not our responsibility to push ****' subscription.  We simply ask not to be involved.  It would be most appropriate for the matter to be dropped.  We sold the urgent care in June, but were told that because we wrote eMDs a month and a half too late, that we were on the hook for another year, which is a hardship.  It wouldn't be fair for us to pay for a continued subscription since we don't own the clinic, and it wouldn't be fair for the new owners since they never signed up for the service.  On top of that, the total being brought up by GGR is more than we had ever paid.  It's amazing that a change in ownership doesn't spark any kind of exception to your time limits.
