      Misled by merchant prior to purchasing cryotherapy package that full purchase price was reimbursable by insurance. Afterwards, found out it wasnt. Requested refund due to deception and merchant refused.

      Wow...I'm so disappointed to hear this.

      The client came in for a cryotherapy session.  She did it, loved it and purchased a package.  It was clearly stated during the intake consultation that we accept HSA Cards and that Cryotherapy is a tax deduction.  (Cryotherapy is considered, ****************************** and all purchases can be used as a tax deduction.)  This was clearly stated to her with me even telling her that Cryotherapy is a few years away being covered by insurance, but that we are closer to this goal now that folks can use their HSA Cards. 

       

      She signed a contract that clearly states we do not offer refunds.  She was offered the option to gift the remainder of her punches to a friend/family member.  There is no expiration on the punch cards. 

      She attempted to reverse the charge with her credit card company, but they declined her request.  

      I have been in business for many years.  I've never had a negative review or escalation. I am proud of the successful, integrity driven business I have built.  I have agreements in place to protect myself from people who purchase packages and change their minds and want money back.

      I do not want to do business with this merchant who was completely deceptive in selling me this package.  The merchant DID NOT disclose at time of purchase that the package wasnt covered by insurance as I later texted her my insurance card.  I simply want my money back minus any sessions used.  I think thats fair given the circumstances. I have also filed a fraud complaint with the *** and will continue until I get my money back.

      I have been in business over 7 years. 

      I see about a thousand clients A MONTH.     

      Don't you think that if I told all my new clients that this was covered by insurance that I would have multiple complaints?  How about ONE complaint??  Yet, I have had ZERO complaints.  This is because I DO NOT tell clients that this treatment is covered by insurance.  I DO however tell them- "you can use your HSA card.  If you do not have an HSA, your purchases can be used as a tax write off. When you do your taxes-either quarterly or annually, I will draft a statement for your accountant detailing your purchases."   About 85% of my clients take advantage of this each year.  (I can submit data reflecting this if necessary.)  

      I have had ZERO complaints or issues in all my years of business.  I am not one for conflict, but this comes down to honesty and integrity and I do not sway on either.  This is not a fun process to go thru, but I will fight this accusation 100%.

      Im sorry that you are deceptive in your business practice. I will be reviewing your business online wherever possible and will continue to fight this until I get my money back.
