    My husband and I purchased a brand-new home from Stellar Contracting at the end of December 2020. We paid $389,000 for the home. Upon our move into the home, we found numerous issues (leak in wall adjoining shower, many unpainted areas, kitchen sink backsplash caulked with wrong item and came out, chips in marble countertop area, large chip in front walkway concrete as well as stains, cabinets doors broken, two windows not sealed correctly, garage molding not sealed completely and mice actually came into the walls, stucco around outside windows is cracking, and more). Basically, poor workmanship all around. The issue we are addressing right now is in regard to the sliding glass doors (2) and screens leading out to the back yard. We complained about the doors at the inspection done prior to our moving in. The doors did not slide smoothly and were very difficult to open. The screen doors constantly fell off as well. We addressed this issue with Stellar right when we moved in as the doors had not been repaired. After many complaints, they tried to correct the issue a couple times, but never resolved it. We continued to complain throughout 2021 and they basically said that we got what we got. We were never able to use the screen doors as they fell off right after you put them on. I got an estimate from a screen door company to provide us with screen doors that would stay on. We let Stellar know what we were doing and that we would send them the invoice. They refused to pay.
