After consulting with the oral surgeon, the company staff provided me a fee schedule for dental work I needed done. The total fee was 36.77.60 including my portion of $1356.92. But their fee schedule did not include an estimate for coverage by my dental insurance, which they are contracted with. So I asked them to confirm the insurance coverage amounts. After patiently waiting a month, I took a copy of my dental insurance policy to them, which showed the insurance coverage amount for all of their procedure codes. They gave me a new fee schedule showing the dental insurance coverage which I signed, totaling $3639.00 including my portion of $1091.70.The next day, they called and told me their preauthorization request to my dental insurance company came back, and my new total fee would be $7058, including my portion of $2117.40. Instead of submitting the fees they had quoted me, they sent in something called *** fees, which had never been discussed with me. I canceled the scheduled surgery, began looking for a new oral surgeon, and sent complaints to the ******* Dental Board, ******* Attorney General, and to the Better Business Bureau. I also gave them a bad review on yelp, to warn others of this bait and switch tactic. They called me back, offering to honor the original quoted out of pocket fee of $1356.92. I declined, but they called back the next day, and I finally agreed to proceed for that amount because I needed to get the procedure done and move forward. They documented this verbal agreement in their response back to the ******* Attorney General. I had the dental work done and paid them $1356.92 on that date.A couple weeks ago, they sent a new bill for $760.48, saying basically that the additional fee was for the bad yelp review. I sent a certified letter back, letting them know my bill was paid in full, and asking for a letter back from them indicating that. Instead, they sent a letter saying they are referring my account to a collections agency.

This review contains several false allegations and misinformation and does not represent a true consumer experience. Patient is frustrated and is using several platforms to harass us and does not want to pay his responsible patient portion.
