  I have been busting my ***** to get this done and nothing says we dont care like ill see if someone has the time to help you. 12k no results so far passed their exam with help, alot of this is still out dated I wish I had never attended this place. I feel cheated and want out but there answer is its a contract. we shall see what happens enough is enough with companies s******* people to get money and doing very little when they sign up except pump them up on the money that can be made. I havent even finished my training and they want money. this was supposed to be 4-6 months zero to hero traning! To me its become zero period im afraid. Come on Nextgen actually do something for people im so tired and really didnt retain hardly anything so if i did take the test im pretty sure Id fail.

  I genuinely regret even talking to them and going here. Im now stuck with paying off a debt that they didnt help me get a job to pay off. DO NO GO HERE, TRUST ME

While we saw some initial engagement, including LinkedIn feedback and personal follow-ups, we also noted long periods of inactivity and missed payments from late 2024 onward. Our team paused outreach to give you space to focus on certifications you mentioned (Security+ and CCNA) but remained available to re-engage when you were ready.Were still here to support you.   I was person in the medical field looking for a change in career. I saw an ad for them on Instagram and instantly fell into the allure of someone in the IT and Cybersecurity field could make. They even spiced it up with essentially "anyone could do it regardless of their background". Well, This is not the case at all. I first got put on a loan program with a shady company called the ********************** They are horrible to communicate with about the loan and have an F rating in the BBB. Secondly, almost all of the videos you pay to access can be found on ******* and the quizzes and tests you complete are not graded by anyone. You are going into massive debt to be able to access their mild sense of direction and countless emails you get from *********************** with meaningless information and small bread crumbs of companies hiring. I spoke with hiring managers from ****** and Amazon who both said the same thing. They do not care about any certificates you have and only look for experience. With these courses, you dont earn any work related experience, just a piece of paper.I spoke with NexGenT about issuing a refund, as I decided this was not the direction I wanted to go. Hiring managers were telling me I was wasting my time and money with these online bootcamps. *** told me I completed over 50 percent of the coursework, therefore no refunds would be issued. On my student portal, I only signed up for the Network stack. It showed I completed around 44% of the course work. I sent screen shots to them proving my case and ***** would say nope, they have me at 56% and therefore they do not have to refund. False sense of security to a student when we are shown one thing on our portal, but NGT is measuring differently. Please stop being greedy when you do nothing for your students and we teach ourselves . Your courses are on ******* for free. Your "tests" are posted on other platforms. Your live seminars are posted on *******. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!

  I feel very frustrated and disappointed with the cyber security program that I joined at NexGent in 2021. I joined this program out of complete desperation because I needed higher income. The program consisted of just the instructor reading slides and not actually teaching anything. I was a part of when the cyber security program began and felt like it was not ready to be launched. I now am still in the process of paying back the $25,000 which is so stressful especially when I don't feel like I learned anything.

  Hi there *******, In your initial program we provided a knowledge based learning experience and also skills-based learning through an online cyber range in addition to certification attainment and career services. These services are still available to you, however we have also made updates to the program format as well as the lab environment which is no longer performed in on-line cyber ranges and is instead completely built out locally using virtual machines. I have provided you with access to all of the new program format and you have access to our current career success team via our community. I would highly recommend reaching out to us and also checking out your updated program access and updated program format. We have also been able to help some students with their *** however some are not owned by us and we have no control over those. In any case, we are here for you and truly care about your success.   Not sure about these low reviews. But this was my experience. This school has completely changed my life. Im a 49 year old that was in the film industry for 25 years. I decided to change my career and dove into NextGen. I was able to complete the school in only 4 months got my CCNA and got a job making 6 figures about 2 months after finishing. Most people that complain about the school just dont put in the work. The school provides the tools but its up to that person to put in the study and the work. Thank you Next GenT for helping me in a major transition in my life.

  As someone who completed the **** course and got a job in the engineering field shortly after graduation, this school does exactly what they say. The courses are comprehensive, the materials covered are vast, and everything learned put me leagues ahead of people I work with who had been in the IT field for 10+ years. If I could go back and do this again, it would be the first thing I did after the military. I am 2 years out from graduating and was reached out to, to see how I am doing and my career growth. They absolutely care about their students during the courses and getting jobs, they treat you as a peer when working in the field. Nothing but respect from everyone there, even though I was keeping to myself going through the classes. Highly recommend this if you are looking for a career change or looking to learn more about a certain subject. Cheaper than college, more personal, and mentors always willing to help.

  Very pricey and trust me, they do not get you the job they promised theyd help you get after you get certified! You start paying even if the current job you have is not the job they promised to help you get, they make you enter your gross pay (the pay you obviously dont take home after tax), of course you get screwed over and you dont have the power to seek leniency because you signed a contract stating that once you get the job they promised, then you start paying. Given the inflation plus triple-demic, these company will make you even more broke than you were before your useless training and piece of paper! Did we reach out to their consultant? YES we did but guess what nothing happened because they send your resume to recruiters whose first few questions are: Do you have a Bachelors degree? Or Do you have 5 yrs of experience to the field? Ahhh NO! So yes, these people will just ask you the money you owe them for giving you training that would not in ANY WAY help you land the job they promised you wouldnt have a hard time getting because they said they will assist you! Unfair and unjust!

  NexGenT does not care about their students and only the money they bring in. the course is lackluster and consists of story time with teachers just reading off power points. I was quoted 12k for the course and am now on the hook for 25k without any changes to my curriculum or study materials. I DO NOT RECOMEND

  Hello ****, we understand your perception here, so please allow us to clarify a couple points on the *** and Training.First, regarding the ***. The *** in which you were enrolled under had a zero up front tuition cost for a base tuition of $12,500, with nothing paid until you are in a job. Per the ***, that tuition begins paying back over time once you are working in a job. The payback amount and time period are all based on your income. So, the tuition payback is a range from a base tuition cost of $12,500 and the absolute maximum payback being $25k over multiple years payback. There is also a clause around not having a job within # of years and the ******** being nullified. These details around the *** would have been explained during enrollment and also in the *** ******** agreement terms when you signed up. The base tuition from our academy is still $12,500, and the *** ******** figures out what is the payback amount and length based on your current salary. However, this can always be paid off early as well. That should provide some clarification for you regarding your Income Share Agreement (***).Second, regarding the training program and updates. When you enrolled in the Cybersecurity program in 2021 your training was delivered via live instruction and also included a live cyber range for lab activities. Since the time of your enrollment, we have digitized more content which is all accessible from the *********** learning platform and community. We have added additional cybersecurity training courses, and have also made many updates to our existing program and labs in the **** to now include a personal cybersecurity lab environment build out. We have also updated the program to a combined networking and cybersecurity program to include ****, Security+, FSNA, 100+ project hours, FSNP, ***** CCNA, and 3 new EC-Council cybersecurity certification courses. We have also updated the career success training and integrated a new employer network with new job offerings posted from our network every week. All of these updates were already applied to your student account along with all other program students and everything is accessible along with weekly live instruction in an asynchronous learning format.Lastly, I just wanted to note that we do care about your success, as well as all of our students, and we are here to continue providing technical training and career services.
