In late July or early August 2023, I signed up for monthly membership with Stretchlab ************. In late November, I notified the club in person after one of my sessions that I wanted to cancel my membership. I thought everything was all set, I then February 28, 2024, they charge my credit card for $619. I called the location and they advised they only put my account on hold and hadn't cancelled it. I have tried to dispute this charge directly with them and through my bank with no luck. Today I received a collection email saying I owed them $25 and need to pay immediately. I called the central billing department and they charged me a return check fee because I disputed the charge. This company continues to harass me by sending me emails almost on a daily basis to come in and get stretched. I have at least 10 credits to be used there, but I don't want them to have any reason to continue to charge my credit card. The recently contacted me regarding updating my credit card of file and again, I reiterated that the membership was canceled and they acknowledged this. I feel I am due a refund of $619 in addition to them cancelling this additional $25 charge that was due to their con of telling me my membership was cancelled in November when they only paused it.
