    I'm giving them one star because the website for Garage Doors 4 Less is misleading..."We offer oil tempered and galvanized garage door springs. Our pricing starts at $59 for parts and labor." My husband called them out to replace a broken spring and they charged $75 for a service call, $130 for a single spring replacement and $200 for the labor (for 30 minutes of labor). I guess I could have sent the tech away but my car was stuck in the garage. It was one of those "I got you sucker" moments. Needless to say, I will not use them again nor will I recommend them.

    Our parts start at $59.99 parts and labor is for the lowest entry torsion spring wire size .192x13/4 x15long . Not all torsion springs are design equally, they are cut based on the weight of the door.. Our $59.99 installed spring will work on a single car 45 lbs ***** ****** 28 gauge garage door with a life expectancy of 3-years. The spring used by our company is lifting a ******* lbs garage door with life expectancy of ***** years . We have 40 + different size oil tempered and galvanized torsion springs. The prices on steel wire went up x3 times in the last year and our Clopay main warehouse was not able to supply ** with torsion springs in the last 15 months or so. Torsion springs are very dangerous and they could break while loaded. Our technicians are working under high stress, its like working with a loaded gun in your hand. ****************************** -owner
