    I am in need of life saving seizure medication. The wait for a neurologist is 9 months. Via email or on by phone, I only receive non competent employees that tell me to "go use a payphone".My mother just died. I have terrible seizures. The only reason that I had a pay as you go phone was to talk to her. I can not afford to keep a phone as I do not work because I have seizures. ******** after having insurance through this company that is not helping. How out of touch is another human being telling me to go find a payphone? I'm circling the drain of the healthcare system and not one single person is helping. I am SMI by AHCCCS definition and in law supposed to be assigned an SMI advocate, not to navigate their mess of a system, but to help my get this life saving medication get refilled. This is where AI fails humanity.

    I created an AHCCCS account in late January in order to apply for medical benefits. I applied on January 29, 2025. When I was entering my information (name, DOB, etc), a message popped up that said something along the lines of "it looks like you already have an account with us" - when I don't. I've never signed up for AHCCCS. There was an option to continue to create an account anyway, so I did that. I entered all of my info and I created a username and password and then applied for benefits. Once my profile was created, I was prompted to "verify my ID" and I entered my SSN and DOB and it stated my ID could not be verified. When I went to log in yesterday (02/03/25) to upload required documents, I saw someone else's SSN was in my account along with a different phone number and email address. I'm worried they might be able to log on see mine as well. I could also see all of the documents she had previously uploaded, so I'm scared to upload my documents because I don't want any of my personal information to be accessed by someone else. There is someone else in ******* with the same name and DOB as me and I think our accounts got merged somehow due to having the same name and DOB. I called the AHCCCS phone number ***************) - which is just an automated system and I was never able to speak with a human being. I chatted with two virtual agents online, one told me to call Experian for some reason and the other told me to visit an office in person. I went to a DES office in-person (address: ********************************************************) and they told me there is nothing they can do because all they can see is my application with my information. However, the problem is when I log in, I can see her info - and I'm scared she can see mine. They just told me to call the automated system number yet again where I am never able to speak with an actual human being. I need our accounts to be separated as soon as possible so I can finish my application.

    I have been trying to get into contact with them for weeks now. They require documents for medical assistance but when calling in the system does not recognize my social security number, phone number or address. I have filed an appeal and did not receive any response for that either. They will not respond to any attempts to contact & then deny me when enough time has elapsed.

    I reported fraud using the ***** Fraud reporting website almost a year ago. I did a follow-up interview and was even asked to verify charges to my ***** insurance. Since then, the provider has gone out of business. I believe my report saved the government hundreds of millions in fraudulent charges. Under the False Claims Act Whistleblower program, I believe I am entitled to a reward. The US District Attorney advised I should contact the investigating agency, but ***** does not disclose information on their investigations or findings. Even private attorneys specializing in these cases have turned down my request for assistance claiming my reward. This is horrendous, that sma person who played an integral role in stopping such widespread fraud hasn't been compensated for doing so.

    I asked my doctor which health plans he takes....on that list there was "UNITED"....i picked united....i called the ahcccs office and requested to be put on UNITED it was an option i took it so i could get surgery done....they took it upon thier self to put me on **********....my doctor is not gonna take bluecross....i called and asked why 3 times they hung up on me on 9/28...around 930 or so am...they wouldnt let me talk to a supervisor to file a complaint....they said they havent made a choise.....yes they did when they gave me ********** instead of united....i dont want **********...i had a choise i took my choise which was united....they put me on ********** that wont pay for my carpol tunnel surgery....this is unacceptable....and i want to file a complaint on the 3 africans that hung up on me....and i want united or nothing

    The AHCCCS administration made contact with this member and assisted with the resolution of health plan assignments in their geographical area.  Surgery has been scheduled. 
    This matter is resolved.
