      Same as all the others. When I first opened the letter I suspected it was a scam, so I googled the name and found the BBB 1 star rating. Then I looked more closely at the letter and saw at the bottom "PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. YOU MUST REMIT THE $89.00 OR WE WILL NOT PROCESS YOUR REQUEST."

      What youve described is not a scam but a clear case of misunderstandingand unfortunately, a recurring one by individuals who dont take the time to actually read and comprehend the service offer before ******* to judgment.Our letter clearly explains that we are a private company offering an optional service related to Homestead Designation.The sentence you quotedPrices are subject to change. You must remit the $89.00 or we will not process your requestsimply means that if you do not choose to use our service and pay the fee, we wont process the optional filing on your behalf. That is standard language for any paid service.Its unfortunate that some choose to label something a scam before reading or understanding itespecially after their own research shows they received exactly what was offered, transparently and with proper disclosures.We encourage anyone with legitimate questions to reach out to us directly. Otherwise, repeating inaccurate claims does a disservice to those trying to make informed decisions.

      Thats simply not what you *********** no point did our letter state that we would register your homestead exemption. We do not offer that service, and we never claimed to. What you received was a letter offering optional assistance with the legal filing of a Homestead Designation, which is entirely separate from the free tax exemption offered by your county.The only thing thats obvious here is that you did not read the letter carefully before jumping to conclusions and making a false claim.Our mailings clearly disclose that we are a private company, that our service is optional, and that we are not affiliated with any government agency. Mislabeling a legitimate service as a scam without understanding it is not only inaccurateits irresponsible.If youd like clarification on the difference between a Homestead Designation and a Homestead Exemption, wed be happy to explain.

      I received a letter from homestead designation services indicating I needed to send them $79 to continue my homestead tax exemption. I received another letter requesting another $52 for fees to record my homestead exemption. This is a scam and this company closed down! I demand a refund!

      This is a scam. I had received multiple "Homestead Designation Services" forms in the mail and almost fell for it. I'm 22 and a first time home owner, and to be targeted by this "business" is disgusting. This company knows very well what they are doing. They even go through the trouble of getting an ****** **. return address (the capital of my state *****) to make people think it is legit. I received an almost identical form in the mail from a different scam business claiming to be "Homestead ******************* that ALSO had a ******, **. address... I see a manipulative trend here... All in all, do not respond to any "homestead x y and x" in the mail as it is most likely a scam. You can apply online for free. If you are a new homeowner and you are seeing this comment now, please do your research and find the correct method for filling for your Homestead Tax Exemption. If you are unsure how to file for your homestead tax exemption, then reach out to your County Clerk for direction. There is a reason that is "business" (and I use that word very lightly) is not BBB accredited.
