Beyond upset about my experience with Jones Moving. ******* threatened me due to her sons error. Long story short, my move should have taken no more than 2.5 hours. It took them 3 hours ********************* over $600. The most upsetting part was the way ******* chose to handle the payment error and my dissatisfaction. I tried to pay by ***** and her son gave me the wrong phone number. I spent the rest of my birthday weekend stressed out because the payment was going to the wrong person. I told ******* Id follow up with her first thing Monday morning after I talk to my bank, which I did. I expressed my disappointment with the overall moving service I received. Her response was to state that I dont think my sons going to forget my number. Theres no way her own son could ever make a mistake right? He must be perfect. She also proceeded to threaten me over email stating she will file a theft of service if she didnt receive the payment that day. (FYI a civilian cant file a theft charge, you can only call the police and they choose whether to proceed or not) Not once did I ever ask for a discount or say I wouldnt pay. I simply expressed my experience to give her an opportunity to address the problems. After my bank was able to resolve the payment error I sent the payment to her as promised. Other customers may have had a better experience but unfortunately that was not the way it went down for me. I highly recommend staying away from this company.

Our crew moved all of your items from a ground floor residence and to a second floor residence. Based on your representation the move was quoted to take 2.5 hours. However, upon arriving at the second floor residence we found that the stairs were missing steps. Our crew could not move up and down the stairs as efficiently as normal. Extra care and caution needed to be taken to accommodate for the damaged stairway. Your total move was completed in 3 hours and 15 minutes despite the condition of the stairs. During the move you offered your apologies to the crew for the missing steps and ensured them that they were doing a good job. When the move was finished you gave the crew tips which they always appreciate.You chose to pay via *****, the crew ******** ****** who as you know is my son gave you the phone number so that you could make the Zelle transaction. ****** along with other of our staff members provide the information to our customers to make payment via Zelle on a regular basis. You then processed your payment for the move and sent the funds to the wrong account. Since the payment was not received at the time of service I requested another form of payment which you could not provide. In our back and forth discussions I felt like you were giving me the runaround and then you started complaining about the price of the move. It is not our policy to allow payment to be made at a later date. However, I agreed to let you work out the situation with your bank and then make payment which was not received until 5 days later. I am really impressed with this company. The crew is very efficient, and a nice group of guys. They take their time to pack your possessions with care. The owners arranged their schedule to accommodate packing her 1 day and loading her possessions on the truck day 2 and are now on their way to *****. We contracted the Jones Moving and Storage team to make a move from ********** ** to the ****************. From the first interaction to the last they were professional and efficient. This business is a family owned and run operation. We needed storage for 6 months while we found a new home. The storage is climate controlled and secure in the Phoenix area. All services were performed on time and the many fragile items they packed arrived in perfect condition.
