This office is attempting to charge me $36,0000. I have requested what work has been completed to get to that amount of money. They have provided a fraudulent receipt of work that was not completed. My lawsuit is only worth 22k so I am not sure why they have done 36k worth of work without letting me know that I owe more than my case will settle for? They have now quit on me and told me theyll sue me for the 36k

We are a law firm that represents clients on a contingency fee basis for personal injury claims. We are limited in our ability to respond due to the attorney-client relationship. There is no evidence to support these claims, rather it is retaliatory in nature. There is no evidence to support the claim of fraud or fraudulent receipt of work. The work we have performed is supported by notes, documents, emails, and both legal assistant, paralegal, and attorney legal work. If a client with a contingency fee agreement requests an accounting of time/work, we provide the same. That is the document that was uploaded and provided. No evidence supports the other allegations regarding the value of the claim or any settlement.
