    My family and I purchased a house with a pool in August 2024. The previous owner hired Phoenix Pebble Pool to repair cracks in the pool just before the sale was completed. Shortly after taking possession of the house we noted the pool cracks had opened again and contacted Phoenix Pebble Pool to fix the work done. The owner, ******* *****, came to the house before the time scheduled to meet, claimed to do a test without us present and stated that the cracks were caused by a problem with the pool plumbing, which would cost another $5000-6000 to fix before he could repair the crack, which he said he would do for a "discounted" rate of $1500. He claimed that the previous owner had been told the plumbing was faulty and that the crack might reopen due to the plumbing. We asked AZ Leak Pros for a second opinion. They performed a test with us present which showed the plumbing was fine and that the crack had not been repaired properly. When we followed up with Mr. ***** asking that he pay for another company to do the repairs correctly, he would take no responsibility for a) misrepresenting the plumbing or b) his poor work. Mr. ***** ended the call by saying he was getting upset and would call back to discuss further. It has been nearly 2 weeks without a call back.

    Im sorry but the warranty the present owners are trying to use is not transferable. We always take care of our customers but you are not a customer unless you have hired us for a service. If you would like to discuss further you know how to contact me directly.

     Mr. ***** specifically repaired the pool so the former owner could sell it. The previous owner listed Mr. ******* contact information on the closing paperwork for us to follow-up with regarding the pool repair. Mr. ***** previously stated that he could not fix his repair because he told the previous owner the plumbing needed to be fixed and that is why the crack reopened. As we found out, the plumbing is fine so Mr. ***** was either mistaken or was lying. Now Mr. ***** claims that he will not stand behind his work, although the crack reopened less than 2 months after he made the initial repair. Clearly, Mr. ***** is OK doing poor work that is far below the standards for a registered contractor. We do not accept Mr. ******* response and will also be exploring how to make a formal complaint via the ***.
