Customer took his truck in to get fixed and paid over $5K to get the engine rebuilt. This business claims the person was not a customer, even though he has a paid invoice and warranty for the supposed rebuilt engine. After picking up the truck, nothing but additional problems occurred. It was determined that this business removed the thermostat so it would not show whether or not the engine was heating up. It also resulted in a leak of the coolant into the oil. The customer took it back to get the truck fixed under the warranty. The business claimed the warranty was voided because it overheated and blamed the customer for it overheating. This was not the case and took the truck to Sun Devil Auto to have the engine looked at. It was determined that the engine was not rebuilt, and the quality of the job was subpar. This was all documented by a manager of the Sun Devil Auto and when it was brought to the attention of the business, the business owner's son said "as a courtesy" that the engine would be taken completely apart, all steps would be documented, and issues would be identified and remedied, and the engine would be put back in to no cost of the customer. This did not occur as it was verbally agreed upon with me, a Certified Fraud Examiner. When the customer came back to pick up the truck, he was told he would have to buy a batter because the one he had was dead, which makes absolutely no sense because the batter was working when he brought it back to to Sun Devil Auto. Sun Devil Auto transported the truck to International Engines, LLC before the last opportunity to fix it occurred. This business is full of excused and I would think twice about taking any vehicle in there for something as simple as an oil change.

Take your vehicle to a good and honest mechanic. I took my car 2013 ***** **** there to get a quote on how much it would cost to either replace the engine or rebuild it. My car was towed to the shop in less than an hour. We settledfor $1700 to rebuild the engine. A week later I got a call from them saying the car needs a lot of parts it will cost $2900 now to rebuild the engine. I told them I didn't have the money, to pick up the car without it fixed I still have to pay them $****. At that point I had no option but to just let them fix it. Long story short, They called me and said the car was ready to be picked up, so I went and got the car. Not even 10 minutes after I got the car, it completely stopped in the middle of the street. I started it back up and I barely made it home. I called them and they said I have to get it towed to them and I have to pay for the tow, we go back and forth and they finally agreed to pay half, but I couldn'tsend it in until after the weekend. so the car sat in my driveway, next morning when i woke up, oil was all over the driveway. I called them again, telling them about the oil leak, which was more than an oil leak for the amount of oil that was on my driveway. So I decided to investigate a little. These guys never took the engine out. I know because I marked the bolt before I brought it in. Finally, they towed the car back to them, they fixed the oil leak, I got the car back and the engine light immediatelycame on with the code that cylinderone is misfiring. I thought my warranty would cover that, because it's been less than 3 weeks since I finally got the car. I was shocked that they were asking me to pay to get it fixed. At this point I don't trust them with the car, they lie right to your face, and they are very dishonest. Once they get paid don't expect them to work on your car. I am looking at what my next option is now, because this is not fair for these guys to just take your money like that and act like it's nothing.

We do apologize for the inconvenience, we are not sure what vehicle this is but if you are still having issues like you claim please bring it to the shop A.S.A.P, we cannot be sure of a problem without inspecting the vehicle, and paper work. As far as us avoiding your calls that is false, yes we have had a few power outages due to the buildings age, but that doesn't mean we avoided your calls. Our doors remained open, and if you could not reach us you could have emailed us, and or came to the shop personally. These are not excuses we gave you but actual facts, we are a business that earns money on jobs we receive we do not benefit from ignoring customers or avoiding them. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and if you are having issues please call us, email us or come to the office so we may set something up for us to inspect the engine. Please be aware that the warranty continues take advantage of it.
