You have to be kidding me? I just called Vanguard, not once but twice! The first time i had to experience an ** system that was horrible , didn't understand a thing i was saying. Then when I got through with some Asian person, I explained how horrible the ** was and then explained all i want to do is connect my voice with security on my acct, i was asked more security questions even though I just verified my 2FA auth via my text. I answered the security question she asked then was placed on a loooooong hold and disconnected!I then called again got another Asian person this time a male who when informed of what just happened to me, reassured me he would facilitate my request, I had to hold more then ten minutes when I just hung up the ********* is going on with *********, customer service? Is it bc after hours calls get transferred to the ***********? ******** is a multi billion dollar business, by saving pennies and ruining your customer service experience , you are "cutting off you're nose to spite your face" Its moronic, and idiotic. I have witnessed the degrading of your customer service over the years, and after today I have concluded its no longer worth the aggravation, to deal with ********, the customer service at ******* ****** is 200 times better 24/7. I will try tomorrow to connect my voice with security on my acct, during business hours and see if that matters. God help you, if i have problems tomorrow during business hours.Initial Complaint

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE FOR A YEAR. ALL I NEED IS A LETTER OF ISSUANCE FROM VANGAURD. VANGAURD STATES THEY DONT KNOW WHAT A LETTER OF ISSUANCE IS. THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I AM REQUESTING. VANGAURD STATES ALL THE CAN SEND IS A REALESE OF ***** STATING THAT THE ***** BELONG TO *********************************** AND THAT THIS IS A ROLLOVER GOING TO FIDELITY. ******************* BEEN TRYING TO VERIFY A THIRD PARTY ON THE CHECK THERE IS NO THIRD PARTY THE INITALS INDICATE IT IS A 401K ROLLOVER.***** ALSO REQUEST VANGAURD TO CALL TO VERIFY. I have filed a complaint several times in the last year vangaurd was told what to do to resolve the issue. ***** is requiring a letter of issuance to have my funds of 18, ****** release to my investment company. I had a retirement account through my former company ******** with Vangard, terminated in 2018, my retirement account still continued. I was informed that if ******* wanted to pull out my account they could otherwise it was fine and would continue to grow. Single mom in need of money June 2023, I called regarding cashing out my account. A customer service agent walked me through this process all the way through. When information popped up stating there was a $60.00 distribution fee that would apply, the agent informed me reconfirmed later reassure me that the amount was under $100.00 the fee would not apply. The conversation ended with a final confirmation that a check for $89.13 would be coming in mail. I received the check and the distribution fee had been applied leaving me with $29.13. I called Vanguard and began the escalating to speak with management. They pulled the call to review and confirm the agent did in fact give me incorrect information but there was nothing that they could do about it. I asked a supervisor to call me the following morning. After 12pm the following day and no call, I called Vanguard again. A different agent informed me of all the logged info/issues/complaints related to the account. She understood my frustration and stated that if the amount was actually $75.00 or lower then no fee would have been applied and that her boss that was supposed to take this call had gone home for the day and would be reaching out to me the following Monday. I received a call Monday to let me know that nothing had changed but that her supervisor would call me again on Tuesday. On Tuesday the person that identified as the supervisor/superior told me that she has reviewed all the information but at this time there was no way for me to be put back into a retirement account or correct their mistakes. Nor were they willing to take responsibility for the misinformation from their employee. When that was addressed, it was not their problem. A FINANCIAL company!Initial Complaint

issued a check for a 401k rollover. the check is at chase bank for 2 months. has not been returned to vangaurd. vangaurd will not help me with locating the check they said the check has been cashed. I continue to not get help with having my check rollover to the fidelity were it should be what I dont understand is were is the ******** and why are they not trying to help return the money. I am reporting chase bank someone there has my 401 ok life savings I have not seen the check since august it should be expiring and I still dont have my money. I am attempting to settle my fathers estate. His401k was being handled by this company. I have supplied them with all the documents to prove I am executor of the estate and they have refused my claim. They gave no reason. And when I tried to contact them I got the run around. And was told someone would get back to me in 3 to 4 business days. Its been over a week and I have heard nothing. They cannot refuse to give me my fathers money. Yet they are trying very hard to keep it. I want to know what is going on? Why they refused my claim and when am I going to get my money I am sick all the evasion and half truths. They are lying to me. When I ask to speak to the person handling my case they say she is out of the office indefinitely. So I ask if no one was working on it? They yes someone is so I ask to speak to that person. Again they became evasive. I have an outstanding check that was sent to my old address. I called and was told to send a form. I sent the form and was told the check was sent to fidelity. Fidelity told me they do not have the check. For months the other company has been telling me to contact the other company, and back and forth. I have called both companies Over 10 times each and hours totaling on the phone. I have several questions that kept going unanswered like: can you put a stop and repay on the check?
