    Please DO NOT get Cove Security. Like many reviews on here, at first, Cove started as a great option for home security. However, in the months of having issue upon issue have come up with little help from customer service. By not fault of their own but due to Cove's built-in policies that are not customer friendly. For instance, my panel has mysteriously lost power TWICE in the last year, resulting in them needing to send me replacement panels that take a week to arrive. The sensors stop working. I have had more false alarms from faulty sensors that I have lost count. In addition, they charge $5 per patent as an equipment credit that you will not get back if you cancel your account. Additionally, they will not buy back faulty equipment. DO NOT use Cove

    At first, COVE seemed like the perfect, reliable, economical solution for my home security needs. However, the honeymoon period last only for about three weeks. After that, the product and service plummetted literally overnight.1) The panel stopped working out of the blue. When I called customer service, they INSISTED it was because I had moved the control panel to a new part of the house when I'd never relocated. 2) I stopped getting courtesy calls after I was told that I would continue to receive them unless I called customer service to deactivate ***** The sensors give faulty and erroneous warnings. After weeks of zero courtesy calls, I got a courtsey call where the representative asking if I wanted them to send someone out because they'd gotten notice that the two dining room windows had been opened. I had literally just left my house and turned the corner. I received no notifications from my app stating such and the panel.4) The only reason why you get to speak to someone in ***************** for the courtsey calls is because it's another company. Otherwise, after you purchase the system, you will most likely end up talking to someone overseas, so it takes a lot longer to resolve anything--if at all.5) The remote controls work very slowly if at all.6) I regularly get phone notifications showing my panel is offline only to hear the alarm countdown ticking to call route me to the call center given my "intrusion."7) Some sensors automatically stop working and then fix themselves. You just never know when it's going to happen. 8) Overall, the equipment is faulty and appears to come with a hidden timer for when to begin malfunctioning after purchase.Sometimes, you really do get what you pay for, and this terrible company and service are just one example. Need I saw more?
