We contacted elite garage doors, April 2024. They first came out to look at our garage door and said that nothing was wrong. They didnt charge us. The next day the garage door is not working again and they sent out a gentleman who said it was the rollers of our garage door. They charged us $500 to fix the rollers. Within a few days The garage door stopped working again. We called them back out. They came said that we needed a whole new unit. It was an electrical issue. They charged us over $1600. However, they charged us for a spring not the actual unit. They told my husband that the spring was more expensive than the unit. When I looked at the invoice, I saw that they had miss charged us. They had also mentioned it to my husband at the time but there will be a 10 year warranty on their work. When we got a hold of the company after multiple emails calls, etc. they re-sent us an invoice with the same price. Just changed what they did and took off the warranty. We try to resolve it with them by continuing to call them and email them. Finally, there was a response. They told my husband that they would reinstate the warranty and that they had actually cut us a deal for the garage door replacement. However, this is not true. I double checked prices with multiple other companies and they have overcharged us by at least double. I would like to be charged the correct amount. Ive been told by other people that this company is allowed to charge whatever they can and whatever the sales person can get, they get to pocket the difference. I am very unhappy with the work that they did their professionalism, the fact that they wont get back to us, or provide us with the warranty that they told us that they would. They told us in the beginning of the spring was more expensive. That is what they charged us for initially, I would like to be charged the correct amount and I would like that corrected. Along woth the warranty they stated.
