We had solar installed on our home in July of 2024. When we signed for our solar we signed an agreement for an incentive check for $1,096.62. On July 30th I received an email asking that I complete a W9 so I could receive the check, and I returned that W9 on the same day. We waited several months and did not receive the check. I reached out in January of 2025 and was told the check would be sent out on the 15th of February (February was implied, she told me "the 15th"). Again in March I reached out because we still hadn't received the check and I was then told it would be sent out on "on my next run of checks this Friday" which was March 21st. Again in April I reached out and at that point was told they were "waiting for funding" and couldn't give me the check. On April 16th I made a formal request for restitution to be made. Today (April 28th) I was finally got a call back, from the same person I'd been communicating with who has lied to us several times, and she stated over the phone that she could not send our check. She repeatedly refused to give us any other contact information for any other person, and my husband and I have left voicemails asking for help that have gone unanswered. On Envision Solar's website they state the are a "********************** Accredited". We just want for them to honor their commitment that they made when we signed for our solar. The person we'e been speaking to is named ***** ******, and given her unwillingness to help and her multiple flat out lies, it makes me strongly suspicious that she is deliberately preventing us from reaching the correct people to avoid receiving a consequence for lying to us for so long.Business Response

This company sold me a solar system for my new build house. One of the selling points was their incentive i would receive after the system was installed. The incentive is 1200$+, once the system was fully installed i was told to wait till it was activated, I did. Once the system was activated I was told I will have it in the next round of checks being disbursed on January 15th. Then when it did not get sent then I called again and was ignored for 3 weeks. Then instead of calling me back ***** their controller reached out via email saying I would have it in the round of checks with no date. It is now 6 months past activation, 4 months past the initial date, 2 months past the next date, and I am done.Business Response

We had a new house built. Envision security came around and we ended up signing up with them. The next day while they were installing a *** came around and talked to us about solar. We ended up signing up for solar too. At first, things moved along. They got permits and HOA approval. Then before long the crew was out to install the panels. All the guys were nice and respectful. We felt great about our decision to go with the company. Until inspections with *** started. They failed not once, not twice, but three times. The meter box was installed directly above the gas line. But rather than come move it, they just kept resubmitting for inspection and failing until the time limit *** gave ran out and we had to resubmit. Finally after the third failure they came and moved the meter box. Only to fail AGAIN. Now, it was because it was wired backward. It took eight months, but finally we passed. Now, we just needed the pigeon guards installed and access to the app. Unfortunately, nobody in the office felt it was necessary to speak to us or give updates without me begging for them. So this was no different. The only one who truly tried was the salesman who really shouldnt have had to be the one helping me as it was technically outside of his job. But thanks to him we did finally get the pigeon guards. And I eventually got access to the app. We were relieved to finally be done with the eight month process and not have to literally beg for responses from the office about anything.Except we werent. Part of the incentive when we signed up was our bill paid for a period of time once it was installed. We now have received a bill. So I reached out to the office asking how I handle that. Days have gone by and of course, zero response. I dont want my credit to take a hit. So I will just go ahead and pay the bill. But it really ***** that they likely wont be keeping up with that promise either.Business Response

Hello,
Elevation is the company that installed the system not Envision but we are sorry to hear you had any issues. We have mailed the incentive check for $$2304.66 and send via FED EX with tracking number 772701487750.
I'm very sorry for the delay. We are a great company who focuses on superior service. You surely will receive your incentive and we're here to service you promptly. If you have any issues at all with your system please reach out.

I moved into my home in July and have been solicited by Envision Solar at least twice a month ever since. Their representatives ignore the "No Soliciting" sign on my front door and ring the doorbell 3x before leaving. I have a ring camera installed and have witnessed them try to open my security door when I don't answer. When I have answered the door, I've explained I'm not interested in having solar installed and requested them to stop soliciting business from me. They have continued to come to my home despite me bluntly telling them I am not even considering installing solar panels.Business Response

We submitted a complaint last year around October because our panels were not producing what we were informed and Elevation had still not given us access to the app to review. We were quickly called for a technician to come and assess the situation and informed we would be reimbursed for loss of production. A technician didnt come until months later and informed us 9 of our panels were not working. We didnt get them replaces until January. We have continued to contact Elevation for our reimbursement and no call back. Today I called again and they told me this was closed in April of 2023, when i called on May of 2023. That they stated no compensation was needed when I can see we didnt have 9 panels working for 5 months. We therefore paid both APS and our solar bill. The service individual said they have already notes no compensation needed and to call back if I have something in writing. No one has called me, this was closed and they stated based on contract language they are not liable for damaged products.Business Response

Hello,I have installed a solar system since 2018 under the false promise of saving money with solar energy. I pay $207 for panels plus $400 to APS in the summer which is much more expensive than normal. In the winter I still pay $207 for panels plus almost $100 for APS.I have contacted APS, Envision and the financing department and they all tell me that they don't know anything about it to call the provider and so on.I feel cheated by this company and forced to pay for 20 years for a service that does not work and does not benefit **** demand that they cancel my contract and return all my money that I have paid them for 5 years under the false promise of 101% solar energy production, which I would not pay for electricity and would receive a 1% APS credit. Such a farce has never occurred even in the winter.Thank you.Business Response

Good afternoon, The agreement signed states the amount of power the system produces. Unfortunately the customer is using more power than the ********************** system can produce therefore the *** bill is higher. The customer also did not apply any tax credit to the balance of the solar finance company after the 18 month time frame, therefore the solar financing increased. These are all things the customer was told, and even signed an agreement confirming. The agreement with the customer signed is with Elevation **********************, not **********************. Please have the customer provide documentation of the contract, it will confirm she needs to file a complaint with elevation and they will address any production issues if there is one.Customer Answer

We got our solar installed in Nov 2022. We were quite excited to use it and experience solar for the first time. Unfortunately, We had to leave the country on family matter for 2-3 weeks in Feb, and did not have access to any devices to check the system. When we came back, we got a bill from APS for $93.64, and thats when we knew the system hasnt been working. Our roommates were home but they do not have access to monitor the solar. So When we received the bill, I immediately went and check on the system, did all kind of troubleshooting following the guides posted in Envision FAQ page. Nothing resolved it so I called their customer service line. I was guided on the phone to do the same troubleshooting steps I did and after waiting for a few days as recommended, the solar system still wasnt working.I was then informed that a tech would need to come out, but it would take another 2-3 weeks for anyone to come by. So, we got no other options but to wait, and by the time the tech came and fix it, we got a 2nd bill from APS for about the same amount. During this entire event, I was in communication with ***** from Envision ****************** and he said he can send a check to reimburse for the issue when I send him the receipt from APS, which I emailed it to him right away (mar 20th, 2022). The guy decided to ghost on us multiple times after stating his accountant would send the check or he would venmo me. Its been 2 weeks and the guy kept giving empty promises and hasnt delivered. I called their customer service line again today (4/17/2023) and a rep said they dont do reimbursement. So now Ive been mislead with different information and I feel scammed after getting a loan so high for a system that didnt work for two months. We were out of country with limited internet access and when we reached out for help, we felt like our issue was just swiped under the rug and nobody truly cared. Truly disappointed because we are now stuck with this contract.Business Response

Sales person stated that:1. They would install netting to prevent pigeons from nesting under the solar panels. Netting was not installed 2. That the main panel would be ungraded. The panel was not upgraded. We attempted to reach out and was told its not their problem and to reach out to the installer.Business Response

Resolution has been met with the customer.
Once the inspections have been completed and passed and the system has been activated we can schedule the installation of the pigeon guarding that the customer was promised.
Our Solar Representative ******* was also able to clear up the miscommunication regarding the solar panel upgrade. Upon inspection it was noted that the existing panel would not need an upgrade to accommodate the solar installation.

Envision Solar was soliciting in our neighborhood when I was not home. They opened my front door and put their door hanging flyer INSIDE MY HOUSE! While I was appalled they they opened my home without our permission, my most immediate concern was for my three dogs and my mother in law who has dementia. While nothing happened, it could have and I want to file a complaint against this company for entering my home without permission.Business Response

I am a 75yr old retired/disabled veteran in a wheelchair. I contracted with Envision Solar 7 March 2022 for installation of the maximum array on my home. I wanted a Tesla storage battery also. Shortly after was when ***** announced delays in ********************** of the batteries so Envision told me it may be until October before the battery was delivered. I had no problem with them installing the panels and electric ahead of time so that once the battery arrived it would be fast & easy, they did not do that. Their parent company (in ********) and ****************** had approved my application for the complete installation. I waited for the battery to arrive.Mid-October they called, said the Tesla battery had arrived & they would be out to install the system. The week before Halloween the system was installed & "ready for inspection" according to them. However, the Inspectors were not notified until November! Envision finally sent a "Customer Rep" out on 28 Nov to meet with me & the **************** Inspector. The items were noted that needed correction or repair. The "Customer Rep" was not an electrician so he could only do a few items, he did take explicit notes & photos. On 2 December the Envision Electrician arrived, stating that he would finish the needed corrections. On 5 Dec the **************** Inspector returned, only to find that part of the corrections had been made. The remaining problems were: Proper labels/of 5 breakers in the 'backup' panel wd labeling of 5 blocked spaces on the original home-breaker-box. Upgrade 1 breaker from 15 to 20amp as it covers a kitchen counter instead of a bedroom. Everything else was "passed". I have kept ****************** up to date on all of this in addition to the ************** Inspectors. Envision Scheduler told me it would be ******* before inspections were complete. Both ************** have told me they could complete within 48hrs. Envision is stalling & doing poor workBusiness Response

We were not happy to hear that our customer not pleased with the installation of his solar system. His issues are directed to the company that actually installs the system not us directly. We have and will continue to work with the customer to help seek resolution with this other company.
We advised the customer that the battery he requested would require a delay in installation as that product would not be available for some time. This delay also helped push back any financing that would become due as a result of an earlier installation.
Although we are not the company responsible for the installation of this system, we have a dedicated concierge that is helping the customer navigate this process until completion and satisfaction. At Envision, we will do everything in our power to help make sure the customer is satisfied and happy.Customer Answer
