      Purchased new drip line irrigation system install on 6/9/2021 for $4,600 Called the installer 3-4 days after the install to due to major water leak in the mechanical box that houses the drip-line water connections. Took them 2 days to get out and make necessary repairs 2022 Over the next year, we have had to do several leak repairs on our own because the installers voicemail is always full and not accepting messages.After several attempts we were able to reach the installer and had to have them back out to fix another major leak from the irrigation lines on both sides of the driveway.2023 May 15th, after several calls and receiving another message saying voicemail is full, we had to repair another hole in the irrigation line that was causing flooding in the backyard.May 30th, called installer regarding a major leak in the irrigation line in the front yard. After 2 days, finally heard back from the installer and he said he was waiting for his repair mans calendar in order to get us set up for repair and he would call us back the same day. Received no call back.May 31st, we called the installer again several times and received the same voice mail is full message before we actually spoke with someone. Then we were told they would send someone out in a few days to fix the repair. In the meantime to drip-line system had to be turned off and we had to hand water all of our plants.June 1st June 5, called every day and we heard the message, Voicemail was full each time.June 6th, Had to call a different irrigation company to come out and repair the leak before our plants started to die. We were told that the main water lines used were cheap and are already shot. Main irrigation lines had huge cracks in them and patches complete.We would like refund for the irrigation system since we have had nothing but problems with it since it was installed and are now having to pay a different irrigation company to make repairs.

      We contracted this business to help with a Palo Verde tree that was damaged by wind. The tree was a large dual trunk tree that had split in the middle. This company suggested that the tree could be cabled between the two sections. A tiny 1/4 inch cable secured by a small 1 1/2 inch buckle was placed between the trunks. The first small wind tore the cable from the buckle and half of the tree fell. That procedure cost $600 or more. They came back out said that they could save the other half of the tree, charged another $600+ to trim the tree and with the next major wind, the tree went over. ****, the owner then came out, said that it would be $600+ to cut up the tree, and remove the stump. When they got to the stump **** said that it would be another $250 to grind the stump since it was too large to remove (same stump as when he started the job). My wife then told him that this entire process was becoming a money maker for him and he needed to come up with a better price for the stump grinding even though that was originally part of the removal. He agreed to $100 and after a month of calling and texting him about his promise to remove the stump, he stopped responding and never showed up. We ended up paying another company to remove the stump. He failed to complete the verbal contract to remove the stump and failed to properly secure the tree to begin with.

      I appreciate you reaching out to me .The tree did not break from cables I installed ,The wind blew it over out of the ground.It’s impossible to stop 60 mile hour winds from doing damages by any means.The gentleman that was doing my stump removal came down with Covid after visit to Nexico. I could not get to the stump an never charged for it.I was informed the landscape guy took it out. The only charge was for removing the tree that blew over which that work was completed.

       We are not disputing the wind we are disputing the inadequate cabling job with undersized cable and very small buckles that would not withstand a 5 mph wind. That was pointed out to the company at the time. Poor workmanship. A 1/4 inch cable between two 12"+ tree trunks will not take a low wind.

      I would think that after 3-4 text messages and a phone call or two that we could have been notified of the Covid issue however we received nothing about that problem or that the removal would be delayed. We continued to be "put off and ignored". In adequate communication and no reasons given for not responding to fix the problem. He did not want to do the job, that was pretty evident.

      The cable job was poorly done

      The efforts were inadequate and this company has a long string of one-star reviews on Yelp. Most all are of the same nature. Poor service, poor response, and lack of quality service.

      I am filing a complaint with the BBB against *************************, owner of Certified Tree Health Specialist. In March of 2022, I hired his company to do general lawn cleanup and irrigation repair. I paid him a deposit of $2,500 and the total job cost $6,500. After I had not heard from him, I called to office on 23 Mar and cancelled. That same day **************** called and said he had sent an email with the start date, which I never received, and I told him I was cancelling any way. He told me the cancellation fee would be 10% of the total job cost. I tried to contact him on April 14 and again on September 7 to see when I would receive my refund of $1,850. I got a reply that he was out of town and whoever I was texting with would look in to it and get back with me. I still heard nothing. I contacted Let ***********, Channel 15, on 4 November. They got back with me on January 2 and contacted ****************. **************** then contacted me and said he would call me on January 4 with a plan. Needless to say **************** did not call to resolve the issue.
