I purchased 2014 *** (VIN: *****************) from HSF Holdings on December 17, 2021. In addition to the vehicle, I also purchased an additional warranty at through HSF Holdings' office with a company called ********************************. On September 2, 2022 I began to hear a noise in the car and the check engine light came on. My son took the car to a local ORileys near our house to have the code read, the technician at ******* told him it was possible that the car needed the spark plugs. The spark plugs were changed by our mechanic on September 7, 2022. After the spark plugs were changed the car continued to make the same noise and the check engine light was still on. Since the Warranty that I purchased through ************* did not cover diagnostics I opted to take the car to a ********* by my house to conduct a complete engine analysis, this was completed on September 13, 2022. The firestone technician informed my son that the valve cover was leaking causing excessive air to get into the engine causing a misfire. I decided to take the vehicle to *************, the car was dropped off on September 14, 2022 for another diagnostic. On September 16, 2022, I approved the following repairs, the oil housing gasket and the fuel injector #3. On September 20, 2022, the technician for ************* called and stated that upon removal of the cylinder the injector #3 was damaged due to a previous improper installation he further indicated that the injector bore in the cylinder head was elongated requiring the cylinder head to be replaced. The dealers technician further informed me that the warranty company would not pay for the repairs because of pre-existing damage. Obviously, a car with a damaged injector and an elongated cylinder head is not drivable, which certainly constitutes a nonconformity under ******* law. At this point, I have been paying monthly for this car without the ability to drive it since September 14, 2022. ******************************* thru HSF Holdings sold me a car that had a damaged injector leading the warranty company ************* to deny coverage due to that pre-existing damage. When I finally got the car back from *************, it was not drivable. I hope you will agree that reimbursing me the amount of cash that I paid for the car is fair since I've had the car for less than a year. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.I have not bee able to drive the car since Sept. 2022 and still making the monthly payments. My current balance is $17,363.00
