I decided to get my car wrapped in black and found "Elite Prints & Wraps" after searching "Car wraps in *******." I contacted the owner, who instructed me to drop my car off on Monday, 9/2, at 10 a.m., promising the job would take only three days. On Thursday, 9/5, at 9:34 a.m., I texted him to ask when I could pick up the car. He requested an extra day, which I agreed to, hoping it would allow him to do his best work. However, on Friday at 3:28 p.m., he messaged me saying the car was still unfinished, needing work on the trunk and front bumper. I felt ****** couldnt exactly take a half-wrapped carso I bit my tongue and continued, with a new promise that it would be ready by 10 a.m. Saturday. On Saturday morning, he pushed the pickup time to ***** p.m. I waited until 1 p.m. but received no call, so I reached out. He said he was doing "final touches" and needed "a couple more hours." I expressed my frustration, explaining that it had already been a week and I couldnt go any longer without my car due to my job. He agreed for me to pick up the car that evening at 8 p.m. However, when I called at 7:45 p.m. to confirm, he texted saying it was his mom's birthday, and he was going out to dinner at 8 p.m., so he wouldnt be able to make it back at 8-9 p.m. Left with no other option, I picked up the car the next day, 9/8, at 3 p.m.Upon inspection, the wrap quality was subpar, with door jambs left unwrapped. He offered a $200 discount for the inconvenience, which I reluctantly accepted, along with a $500 store credit that I had no intention of using given my negative experience. On 9/10, I noticed the wrap was peeling and cracking, so I called to request a refund. He refused, citing the labor involved. After a week of back-and-forth negotiations, he agreed to lower the bill to $720. However, given the poor quality and inconvenience, I feel I shouldnt have to pay, especially since I now have to find another business to remove the wrap and pay for a re-wrap elsewhere.
