Briefly, ********************* told me the job would take 3 weeks. I waited more than 8 months, listening to his saga into the monsoon season. My car sat outside with no windows. I cite poor service and money for work not done, not returned and parts of my **** Superbeetle VW, not returned.Nov. 14, 2022 I wrote a check to ********************* (Airizona Aircooled) for $2500. This job was to remove the windows, paint and replace the windows, gaskets, fender beads and roll-up window rubbers.Dec. 4, 2022 I received an invoice for $2000. This amount was never corrected.Jan. 30, 2023 windows were removed, fender beads, lights, etc., never re-installed.Jun. 4, 2023 painted car returned to shop in ************. I immediately ordered, payed for and had shipped to them necessary gaskets and a windshield that had been broken.July 31,2023 with monsoons coming in, I took my car home. They could not find the fixed windows, gaskets, license plate light, fender beads,Aug ******* **** had promised to return parts, I attempted to recover my property, to no avail.I can characterize our interactions with literally thousands of meaningless apologies, promises and in the eye manipulations of the truth. Anyone using the front as a church going, family man, veteran, I can only speculate but not prove what amounts to be a hate crime. Exactly what did he perceive me to be?

    Business Response

    Date: 09/13/2023

    To whom it may concern,

In response to ******************* complaint 20515416.

We took in Keiths car to do some repairs and get it painted for him.  It took over 6 months for us to find a painter that could get it in for him. We were finally able to get it painted and back to us in June.

In the mean time, ****************** reported his car stolen to the ****************************** in January.  He then came to our shop in late July, hooked it up to his tow dolly and called the police saying he found his stolen car.  Trying to get us arrested!

We were able to show CVPD correspondence and packages of parts that ***** sent to us, proving him to be lying and needless to say they were not happy.

CVPD was ready to give him numerous citations for his making false reports and I told them lets just let him have his car and move on.  They reluctantly agreed. We loaded all of the parts ***** had shipped to us and he left.  And BTW, ***** still owes us money.

Fast forward to August and we told ***** we had some window rubber and glass we would trade him for a set of wheels I had given him, as a gift for so many delays in getting the car done. He agrees and then shows up at our place with four old tires and wants us to give him the rubber and glass, saying we stole the parts.  We had to call the police again and have him trespassed from our property for one year.

I feel that ***** is unstable and may have cognitive issues.  We will not be issuing any kind of refund and ***** should know we are considering legal action against him.

    Respectfully,

    *********************
