  I have always been very pleased with the work of ******* the current owner of Prescott Watch and Clock. I go to him whenever my watches need a new battery or leather strap. He has always treated me well and with the utmost courtesy.Recently, I picked up at his shop my Grandfather's 100 year old ******** Railroad Pocket watch and he made it look as if was brand new. He cleaned it, oiled it, replaced the mainspring and polished it in a timely basis and at the agreed price.I give this shop five stars.

  I agree with the last review! Please BEWARE of Prescott Watch & Clock!  The owner gave me an estimate of $100.00 to replace the glass face of an outdoor clock. When he called to tell me it was ready to be picked up, I asked, what is the total cost? He said $160.00. I fell silent for an extended time as I was shocked! I wondered why the additional cost without so much as a call whether or not I approve? ( Originally, I told him I was not sure about paying $100.00 - but ultimately agreed to it)Without another word from me, he then stated the reason why. He said he had originally measured the glass incorrectly and had to reorder a second piece of glass.I immediately felt as if I was being asked to pay for his error, and held hostage if I did not agree.Yesterday, I went to the store to try to resolve. He lied about the estimate given and I said so.He became very agitated when I asked to see the first piece of glass and would not allow me to further explain my side. He then said I was a mental case and threatened to call the police if I did not leave. I said okay call the police. He did not call the police, Instead he man handled me and shoved me out of the store. I called the police and filed a report.
