    We recently purchased a house in which the previous owner had a new shower titled and remodeled by Custom Edge Tile. We are aware this was recent but the company will not provide a date. We know if it's within 1 year they are liable for fixing damage and possibly for a longer time they are liable for additional damage. The work done was against any building code and was a shitty job done. The linear drain and curve there is all gone and broken and you can see a hole noting this contractor did not caulk properly. He put nails through our ceiling and pcb membrane which is illegal and in the waterproofing which is counterproductive.
    We have reached out to the contractor multiple times to gain information about when this was done as he should be held responsible for breaking code when completing this job but they have been unresponsive.

    Hi ***** sorry you feel this way. Although, we did respond. We understand your frustration. The work was done for the previous owner and way over a year ago. So is no longer under warranty. We do not use nails. We are licensed and do every job up to code. We have never had this problem before in the 13 years we’ve been in this business. The previous owner still recommends us for jobs.

    The business did stop responding and has still yet to provide proof of date of his work. It's not just the nails but the grout leaked through the wood floor floor. Until we cmhave proof of date and know exactly what he did we have nothing us to believe then the proof of damage in our house. If there is nothing to hide then we can be shown proof of date and services provided.
