I was referred to ACF remodelers by a structural engineering company because I was in the process of purchasing a manufactured home that needed some corrections in early March 2024...I chose them because they were one of 2 companies that the engineering company had referred as their preferred vendors. Since they had that rapport with them I assumed they were good at what they did and could be trusted. What needed correcting was 1.) Install 2 LLB Minute man systems under double wide manufactured home $900.00, 2.) Repair any vapor barrier or insulation that is damaged or has been removed $700.00, 3.) Adequately ventilate foundation crawl space $600.00 4.) Treat existing skirting with copper green brown wood preservation $1,000.00....I also paid an additional $100 because their invoice was paid through our title company at close of escrow for a total of $3300.....they went out and "completed" the work and because the are a preferred vendor of the engineering company, they didnt go out and physically inspect the work that was performed.... I didn't realize that the work had not actually been completed until I closed on my property and inspected it myself. I quickly found that the tie downs were not secured or even had the screws in. I also quickly found that the vapor ******er and insulation was never installed at all. My real estate agent tried to reach out to the company on my behalf to have the issues corrected and actually get the work done. After a lot of run around and blame placing on me as the client. They "went out" to correct the work. It was done in a very haphazard manner and they actually pierced my ac ducts ruining my ac and incurring additional expenses on my behalf. They have been out 3 times and still the work is not completed. They never secured the vapor ******er and just threw it over my plumbing and didnt even attempt to replace the damaged insulation. I am asking for refund to have someone actually complete the work

Not sure of the name on the complaint because thats not the name on my contract so Im not sure who this gentleman is we did go out to the property to do the repairs of the install The *** system and install new insulation and new vapour barrier we needed and doing so under the home was overgrown with the dead grass so bad visibility was hard. The other problem I had was under the home cat faeces was throughout the whole home so after eight hours of work on it, we decided that we couldnt work on it anymore until the grass was removed and the cat faeces was removed, I contacted the *********** lady and told her that these repairs would have to be done before we can go back. Im not sure how long it was when we got confirmation that the repairs had been made. I sent an employee out there just to do the vapour barrier repair and  somebody came To the property from watching from the video camera and instructed my guy to stop with theyre doing and leave the property. I personally came back several weeks later with one of my employees and we spent the whole day there unfortunately, the dead grass a lot of it was still there and one side of the house and the cat faeces was never removed like they said was done and the LB system had already been repaired prior and we replaced missing insulation.  We replaced missing vapour barrier missing Insulation vapour barrier that went over theplumbing is not an issue, theres we reinstalled the skirting and left premises the duck work hes talking Unfortunately, we werent in the area of the ductwork to have punctured holes in it as the picture showed. If you look all around both sides of the ductwork youll see that there was no brand-new vapour barrier on each side so I dont believe we ruined the ductwork As for a full refund, I dont believe thats warranted all the missing vapour barrier all the missing insulation the tiedowns and the treated skirting was completed
