BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS!!!!!************************* Slick Ponies Ranch she lives on the border of ******** ****** and ******* This person completely misrepresented the abilities of a horse she sold me. Then while trying to resale it I have had two people say: "if ****** sold you this horse I will have nothing to do with that horse". Also, she tried to buy the horse back at a deep discount pretending to be a different person named *******She is not a reliable horse trader!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beware of this place. We had our horse picked up where we live near ***** so she could be finished. Shortly into the training period we got word that our horse and several others located there we sick. We were sent pictures and our horse did have nasal discharge. We were told the horses had a vet visit and were given medication. We asked for the vet report so that it could be added to our horses health record but never received it. We drove out to the facility and were shocked to see the condition the place was in. We had sent our horse with several ***** of hay and bag of her grain mix. She was being fed alfalfa cubes and not the hay mix we sent even though there was some left on site. Our horse was emaciated and the water trough was filthy with nasal discharge in it. We brought penicillin on the advice of our vet and would return the following week. When we returned the following week, they accused our horse of getting the other horses at their location sick. None of our horses at our house became sick and our horse left healthy, in fact she literally had a vet check the day she left. There was sharp metal on the ground as well. We gave them money to buy more hay on our first visit out there and when we went the second time there was no hay. We had a very difficult time loading the horse and she had never acted that way previously. We were being screamed at by their people the entire time. When we got back home our vet was waiting for us (at a quarantine location we had set up) and was shocked to see how thin she was compared to when he last saw her about three weeks prior. Her eyes were sunken in and he said she was severely dehydrated. She was given medication and fed incrementally at first to avoid complications per our vet. We entrusted this place as we knew the trainer for years - although we saw her at a very nice facility at that time so we thought we were in good hands. Only afterwards did we see all the things online about this place.
