DaySmart Appointments ************************************* which is an electronic business solutions company which provides on-line scheduling options & marketing for businesses. At the time of my annual renewal in March of this year 2025, I was shocked to see that my renewal rate had increased by $200, a full 50% rise from 2024. Last year's annual renewal was $499. This year I was charged $699. I WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THIS, NOR DID I APPROVE THIS CHARGE TO MY ACCOUNT.When I contacted DaySmart, I was told that the business Tier that provides my online scheduling calendar for my office had been had done away with. I was told that they had emailed me about this & that there were lots of new services included in the new Tier into which I had been placed. I did not have knowledge of Tiers being retired or my account being changed by DaySmart from Bronze to ****************** that does business ethically & in good faith knows that contracts require consent and confirmation from both parties. That is also why services like ******** exist: to formally document agreed upon contracts by two parties. Basically DaySmart changed my contact & yearly rate & charged me without my consent or knowledge.Note: in email message 3-11-2025 from *** *********, VP of Sales at DaySmart, he stated that if I implemented Stripe Payment processing (added credit card processing) with DaySmart that he would hold my original Tier status fee for another year. This is all simply a money grab for DaySmart. They make more money by manipulating subscription rates, not communicating in reliable ways, & hoping customers will not notice. They make even more money if they can get customers to transition their credit card services over to them. Allegedly sending out an email and jacking up a yearly subscription rate 50% is egregious business practice; so I hope to save other consumers this experience. Sincerely,***** ********, LAc, *** RN
