      Absolute predatory and spammy marketing behavior. Similar to robo-calls during election season. Calls literally once, sometimes twice week. Block them, but they call from different numbers each time. They do not provide an easy way to opt-out, nor can a global opt-out be found. Horrible, horrible way to do business - which turns away possible well-intentioned donors. I will never donate with them again. DO NOT give this company your information. Wouldn't be surprised if they're selling data to 3rd parties.

      This place calls me at least once per week. I've never donated blood to them so I have no idea how they got my ********* phone number is on the Do Not Call list but they don't care and keep calling. I will also be reporting them to the FTC.I keep blocking their number but then they call from a different phone number - total telemarketing *********** NOT do business with these scammers - they will continually call and harass you.

      Same issue as everyone else on here. Used to donate convalescent plasma during covid days, now weekly spam calls from different numbers making them impossible to BLOCK. Absolutely ridiculous- just received yet another while making this complaint from ****************.I will sue if these calls do not stop.

      I have not donated blood here since it was called ***********. I was a weekly plasma donor but there were several times when the donation failed. And yet, I started receiving calls twice a week - despite their systems stating that I was unable to donate plasma or blood for a certain amount of time, from multiple locations. Called 6+ years ago asking them stop. They did. Following health issues & travel, I stopped donating here altogether.
      Since the end of '23/beginning of '24, I've been getting harassed by Vitalant anywhere from 2-4x a week from rotating 20+ numbers, like clockwork. I do NOT have a profile with them, have not worked with Vitalant and want to be left alone.
      Your relentless automated harassment has left a nasty taste with everyone. For this reason, too many people choose not to interact with this company and/or donate elsewhere.

      Vitalant HARASSES the donor with calls and voicemails. They use many different phone numbers so if you block one number, theres another number used ( many numbers).

      I've had the same problem. I used to give regularly to the ********** but Vitalant's methods have resulted in me not donating at all. Constant phone calls from various numbers with no Caller ID information. No way to get them to stop. If they are truly legitimate, they would use their phone number and stop trying to circumvent blocking.

      Constantly bothered by spam calls. Never takes you off the list when you ask. uses many numbers so you cant block them. Should be illegal. Been 4 years now and still wont leave me alone.

      I have never been a customer of ******************, yet they relentlessly pursue me through **** calls. I have requested removal multiple times. I blocked the number, but that number stops them from sending from a different number. I recognize and support blood donation, your relentless marketing is practically sucking the blood out of me and undermining your purpose.

      Vitalant emailed me on June 17, 2024 asking me to donate blood at the *************** blood drive in ********************. I signed up to give whole blood at 4 pm: the intake person persuaded me to give a power red donation instead because I am O negative. She assured me it would not affect me any differently than giving whole blood, and that I qualified to give power red. I am a 76 year old female who works out regularly and has no major diseases. The draw was unusually painful and took 1 and 1/2 hours. When I got home I noticed my heart was beating fast, and I felt lightheaded. Walking up stairs made me feel like I had run a marathon. I called the Vitalant number on my paperwork. The help desk person said I was having a reaction to the anticoagulant, and directed me to eat dairy and salty crackers, and drink electrolytes which I did. Feeling no better I called back the next day. I got a different help desk person, and we agreed I should go to the emergency room. The ** doctor ran blood work, examined me, and reviewed my health records: he concluded I was very anemic from giving blood. Simply put they took too many of my red blood cells which left me unable to deliver enough oxygen to my muscles and brain to function normally (feel stable and fit). I was asked to follow-up with my regular doctor which I did. He reran my blood work and concluded I was not loosing more blood. The power red donation lowered my *** count, hemoglobin, and hematocrit from 4,52 to 3,2; 14.6 to 10.6; 45,6 to 32.1 respectively, I am very anemic, and it could take several months for my body to return to its normal state. As a result of giving blood through Vitalant, I have ** and doctor ***** and can not participate fully in my normal activities. Its been several weeks, I am still unsteady when changing postures, climbing stairs or walking in the heat. Both doctors I saw told me not to give blood at Vitalant because something is wrong with their protocols.

      They call you insensinsitly about donating. Doesn't matter if you donated last week (thus making you ineligible for donation for 6 weeks). I have asked them multiple times to stop calling me. I have unsubscribed from further communication via robot caller. I still get called every other day. I've blocked all their numbers, so they just leave me robo voicemails every other day instead.
