    I hired Mccarthy law firm to take care of my debt, and it has been a lot of money to handle this, I have talked to multiple lawyers and they have informed me about how this matter shouldve been handled by now and McCarthy is a scam. Via email only, McCarthy is still telling me that theyre dealing with my last creditor which has already affected my credit. I believe that theyre trying to settle for the full amount because its more money for them. Every time we schedule a phone call they dont call. This should have been negotiated and taken off my credit (its been almost 4 years) and it still has not been resolved. The purpose of my complaint is to let other people know, as well as have this problem resolved immediately.

    I was a freedom debt relief member who used McCarthy law as there law firm. Do to continued issues with both parties knew nothing about what they were supposedly representing (McCarthy said they weren't working on this problem, freedom and dvt collector said they were, documents I needed supposedly didn't exist, etc) so I ceased working with freedom and them and had contacted McCarthy law representative ****** who said they would send a letter stating they were not representing me this was in April 2022. I have been making payments with my debtor and recently called to get an update and was told they could not talk to me because I was being represented by this firm. I have tried multiple times to contact them and get this resolved with no response.
