      The ****************** is either incompetent or criminal. Two years after the death of their patient, they sent a refund check in the decedent's name to the incorrect address. The decedent's estate had fully closed within that time. As the decedent's executor, I called to request the check be re-issued to my name and address so I could disperse the refund to the beneficiaries. I sent in all the required paperwork to establish my identity and to prove the death of their patient. I then had to call multiple times over 4 months with no resolution. I was never able to speak to the same person twice nor was I able to speak to any supervisors who could resolve the issue. I then tried to send a certified/registered letter to what I thought was the corporate office that I found online. Unfortunately, or fortunately, the "corporate office" address I found on the internet was actually the address of a prior affiliated company (was no longer affiliated at the time they received my letter). The other company that is no longer affiliated with SW Diagnostic Imaging took pity on me and reached out to SW Imaging directly and the check was finally reissued correctly. It should not have taken 2 years to initially determine a refund was due and then it should not have taken an additional 4 months and an outside company calling on my behalf before the check was reissued. I will never use this company if I can possibly help it and I certainly would never recommend anyone else use their services due to the awful experience with their billing/"customer service" departments.
