    I cancelled my monthly membership on 4/14/2024. See uploaded document. The cancellation agreement says I will be charged one more time. Prior to this, the former manager ***** verbally told me that I wouldn't be charged again after 4/14/2024, but I was, but since my signature is on the cancellation agreement dated 4/14/2024 and it states I will be charged one more time, I am not asking for a refund for that amount. That next payment was charged to my credit card 5/13/2024 the amount of $189.00. This should have been the last charge. On 6/12/2024, there was another charge to my credit card of $189.00. I stopped by on 6/14/2024 and spoke to **** who is the new manager (***** quit) and she discovers that I have 2 contracts!! She made the statement that they are having to fix his mess **** I understand that, but that's not my fault. So she cancels the second membership that nobody realized I had, and she says I will get a refund. A week goes by, and my credit card hasn't been credited. I stop by again on 6/28/2024, **** isn't there, just an employee. I ask for ***'s contact info (the owner). Call her right away and left her a voicemail. Within in a few minutes, I get an email that says refunded as a credit balance. She never calls me back. I do not want a credit to use for free stretches. It is their mess up and I want the refund back on my credit card. I called and spoke to **** this morning and she says she can't override what *** did but will forward to ***. I did leave them a bad review on ****** and yelp. I don't know what else to do. They technically owe me $378, due to *****'s mistake. But at the very least I want $189 refunded back to my card for the charge on 6/12/2024.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
