      Unacceptable business practices!! What is the point of going to the gym to cancel a membership vs email? The manager would not send out a cancellation form via email to accommodate my schedule. I requested a cancellation via email and was refused. Did they think I would let it go and continue to be billed if I wasnt interested in staying at that gym? NO! This business practice needs to stop and should be illegal. They already get an extra month of membership fees out of a client when they cancel.

      I am not sure what others are complaining about. I have never been billed incorrectly and have always found the staff to be courteous and professional. During COVID they took great care to clean hourly and always made me feel safe!

      If I could give less than one star I would. We had a membership with mountainside for 1 year. After our year was up we cancelled our membership in person. This was due to us moving OUT of state. This was 10 months ago. For the last 10 months theyve still been charging our account for a membership that weve never used or were even aware of. $800 dollars down the drain. Why you ask? Because we didnt cancel our membership in person or via mail. BUT we did. Now were being told they can cancel or membership via email no problem, funny. However, that $800 well never get back, because they cant do anything about previous charges!? Unbelievable. We dont care what its going to take were getting something back, and not some lame free membership theyre offering us. We never use it anyways with such trashy customer service and crooked business practices. STAY AWAY from mountainside fitness.

      The cancellation policy is ridiculous. If you have moved out of state and cannot physically go into a club, you can only cancel by certified mail. It's 2023. Don't hold your paying customers hostage."If you would like to process a cancellation without visiting a club location please mail a notice via certified U.S. mail, return receipt requested, which should including your name, key tag number, and e-mail address for confirmation to:Cancellations cannot be done over the phone, through email, over social media or through text."

      Mountainside Fitness (*******************) refuses to pay for services rendered. This is to serve as a warning to other vendors wishing to do business with them!!

      Terrible contract. They literally con you out of your money. This is literally taken from the contract: All members may cancel within 30 days of term expiration at the end of stated term at no cost.Yet, just below in the SMALL print is says this: Members must cancel prior to the end of the prior month to avoid billing for the following month. Once a new month begins membership dues may not be refunded or altered.So clearly, they are not consistent with their contract and just want to con you out of money. Please don't waste your time.

      They have used my credit card without my authorization after signing up for one month free. Harassing phone calls and at least twice a month change my card $164 and $48 each month. Finally had to cancel my credit card. Complete nightmare. Do not give personal information.

      ************** was in ******* for a 6 month stay and joined. In Feb I gave a written note to Cancel, which was 'lost'. Have sent multiple emails and calls to Cancel and nothing. Still me notices for payment when I have been in ******* for 6 months. STAY AWAY
