    Hello,I filed a flood claim with my flood insurance,Assurant on July 27, 2022. My house was devastated by flood. During this time we were without running hot water and a furnace for about a month and a half. Additionally, displaced. We received a payment from our insurance in the amount of 21k based on estimates from FEMA in September. Additionally, the work and total cost of our damages totaled over 50k. We were informed we would be able to file a supplemental report based on the additional loss of damages to our house. We started calling both our Assurant adjuster and field adjuster, ***************************, Assurant. *************************** Field Adjuster around October to discuss our supplemental report and loss damages. Around November, we were informed that our field adjuster was in ******* dealing with another FEMA emergency which resulted in our case being put on the back. After more than 10 calls, countless emails, and unanswered text messages. We were informed by the Assurant Adjuster *************************** in December around 9th, 2022. "It was not her problem because she didn't have the supplemental report." We informed the adjuster that our contractors started the work. At that time we contacted her supervisor ***********************. He informed me that he would look into the case. We waited over another 20 days before we were able to hear anything back from either ****** or ***************************. I was sent a check totaling ****. However, I signed a supplemental report for 29k. All of our contractors are still waiting to be paid. ***** refused to call me back and explain any discrepancy with our check even though, I called left several voicemails for both her and her supervisor ***********************. Today, January 30th, I informed both *************************** and *********************** that I wanted to file a complaint. I sent an email at **** am and again at **** requesting general information for a complaint. Both refused to give me an email or complaint hotline to file a complaint. This company is disrespectful.
