    Alpha Cord LLC seemed great. However, with research saying that cordblood is only viable for ***** years, I chose to cancel in December of 2021. This is where Alpha Cord's practices became questionable if not worse. 1. Alpha Cord did not honor my original cancellation and claims no record of this cancellation. However, they did not pursue payment or late charges. 2. Alpha Cord did not keep records of cancellation requests or correspondence. Alpha Cord claimed I never requested cancellation. However, I had evidence of a follow-up request for cancellation. 3. Alpha Cord provided misleading information. When I explained the errors in their billing, I was told I just needed to write an email and exactly what to say, then it would all be taken care of. Instead it started a slew of emails from a ****** Services Manager who did not cancel the account or address the erroneous charges. In fact, they are threatening to continue charges and keeping the storage going until I pay. (This is after I proved they were incorrect about my not cancelling previously.) Alpha Cord LLC may or may not be a good service for cord blood banking, but I can say that after 16 years of paying on-time I am dismayed at how I have been hounded. The one explanation I've been given is that they do not take cancellations in response to bills only by phone. I can see why this is the case, as there will not be any record of a phone call. I do not trust Alpha Cord LLC's practices. I would go elsewhere.
