I am reaching out to request your mediation in an unresolved matter regarding my attempt to cancel a timeshare agreement with Desert Oasis (****-Hyatt), which has reached an impasse despite repeated efforts on my part.On June 16, 2023, I spoke with Hutch *******, the Director of Customer Advocacy, about my cancellation request. During our conversation, he assured me that a cancellation option would be available by the first week of September. When I did not hear back, I reached out to Mr. ******* on September 27, 2023. Unfortunately, I was informed that he was unaware of the current status of my request and that management had decided on No More Cowboy Moves, leaving me without a clear path ********** date, despite investing significant time and energy in this process, I have not received an exit option or a meaningful update on my case. I recently reached out to the exit services team to follow up. To my biggest surprise, ***** advised that they could not assist me as they do not have any exit options or hardship program. I am deeply frustrated by her response. Their representatives keep pushing me back and forth, which is not fair. This timeshare is paid in full, and I am current on all my dues, so I see no reason why they should hold me down in a contract that does not benefit me and my family. It also concerns me that I am expected to continue paying fees for a timeshare I am not using while my cancellation request remains unanswered.I kindly ask for your assistance in mediating this matter. I seek clarification on why my request has stalled and guidance on the next steps to resolve this issue.
