    Consumer warning against Piper Capital Holdings! I listed my mobile home for sale with a friend at Piper Capital, due to his many years of experience. After 3 months and maybe 2 showings, he left the company due to a dispute with the owner there. I was "assigned" to a 19 year old kid with no experience, who has yet to even contact me! I contacted the owner ************************* and requested to take the home off the market, as I am going to move into it. After several days, he sent me a cancellation notice with a bill for a $4000 cancellation fee (the full commission)! To my surprise, I found that clause was in the listing agreement, but checking with his major competitors, the others do not charge such a fee. He will not back off, so my only option is the let another 3 months of the listing ride, only due a commission if he sells at full asking price. Be aware, as well, that the commissions they charge is not at all competitive. Normally, they charge 10% of the selling price, or in my case $5990 (I negotiated it down to $4000). His major competitors charge $3000, while they have 3-5 agents working the listing, versus Piper's 2 in the ****** area. His lack of professionalism is evident. He is clearly only out for the $$$, while having done virtually nothing for me! BEWARE!
