Super easy process and helpful, friendly movers. Seemed pricey until we realized how much it would cost driving cross country and booking a hotel room for spring and fall. This actually came out cheaper and saved us a lot of hassle.Dorm Room Movers LLC

With all due respect this is entirely untrue. The student was delivered on 9/1/23 on their scheduled delivery date for students living off campus. Not only were they delivered yesterday, our moving team went back to ensure the delivery after the student informed us of an emergency they had that prevented them from being at their home at the originally designated time. While we are not perfect, our team, stayed engaged with the customer all day yesterday to ensure their items were delivered after all of the other students deliveries were made.Review fromJessica C

A rip off! We pay for an inclusive service but now theyre trying to charge $400 for delivery for my student athlete claiming they have to pay their movers. Yeah, thats what I paid for. Why an extra charge? Universal Storage - used at ***************** - never charged for early delivery for my student there. This company is trying to nickel and dime people and are completely u apologetic about it.Dorm Room Movers LLC

Since I can not match the email that submitted the review, I cannot speak to the specifics. However, at every school we operate at, we always have at least 1 free delivery date and typically more at every campus service that aligns with a schools move-in calendar. There are unique situations in which those free delivery dates do not match all student returns and therefore we offer different options from On-Demand deliveries, warehouse pickups or ship outs that can be requested at different price points to best accommodate these unique situations.Review fromChristine S

1 starIf I could give Dorm Room Movers zero stars I would do so. I wish I would have looked here before scheduling with this company. They advertise they will pick up and deliver to the dorm with ease. This is not the case. They did mail packing boxes to be packed, and they did pick up when they said they would, but now that the storage items are to be delivered all of a sudden they cannot do so in the way in which they stated on their website. It has been days of texting, calling, and talking in circles with them about how to get the belongings to the dorm. It seems there are no supervisors to speak with to get issues resolved. The last text said they would get back to me soon but that was yesterday and I cannot get through to them today. After reading other complaints I am now super concerned that they will simply not deliver the items and there will be so much money spent to replace the belongings that were stored. College is expensive enough without being taken advantage of by a predatory company like Dorm Room Movers. Two years ago, there were positive comments, which leads me to believe it might have been bought by an identity that is running it on the cheap. I will continue to pursue getting the items delivered. The college student is flying across half the US to attend their college and the company offered for the student to either pick up the items stored up from the warehouse (there's no way to get transportation to do so plus that is not what was paid for) or for me to pay additional monies to do a special delivery. Again, that is not what I paid for when signing up with them. It feels as if Dorm Room Movers has highjacked the student's belongings and is holding them for ****** unless our family is able to come up with more funds to have them delivered. When I asked for a phone number on two different occasions for a supervisor I was told no number existed but to call back to the number listed on their website, which makes no sense.Review fromChengxin W

1 starDidn’t tell me that they charged things by per boxes and charged same price with different size boxes. Which cost me 650 dollars a month because I use a lot of small boxes. God how can you say you guys service for students with that prices. What’s more, I have a gift hanger which supposed be a trash leave in my original house but they still took that and charged 15 dollars. And when I want they send my stuff back, they told me I still need to pay 350 dollars and when I agree with that they try to charge my card for $2000!!!Review fromJai T

1 starMy sons items were supposed to be delivered 8/29/2022. Its now 9/13/3022 and they are still not delivered. It took repeated calls and e-mails to finally get a call back from a manager, who told me that my sons items were lost but then found. Now Im being told they are unable to schedule a delivery because of logistical issues. Meanwhile, my son has been at college for almost 1 month and he still does not have his items.
