As a first-time author of the book Bumps and Bruises: A Surgeons Reflections on Life, I was concerned about approaching an Audiobook producer and marketer, since I was unfamiliar with the process, and knew no one in that field. After considering various options, I selected ***************************** from Audiobook Network, who had a genuine interest in my work and had the inimitable ability to connect with people on a level that builds trust and confidence in her competence. She truly had the ability to assess my expectations and concerns, and from beginning to end has exceeded all of them. I was impressed with the auditions for hire that **** screened, as they were all professional and fit the style and intent of my work. Her responses during multiple communications were timely, germane, informative, and encouraging. When hiccups occurred, though rare, she was an incredible advocate for me, as well as an informed and empowered participant in the Audiobook process. This was the most hands off task I have ever completed from the initial contact made to the finished product. "J' the coordinator was very professional and answered any question I had quickly and concise while still being courteous. It was clear the Audible staff's main concern was a satisfactory completion of my story. Nothing was done with out prior approval by me and everything went quickly. From the start to the end of the whole process, I had an amazing experience.Having a phone call and email conversation with individuals you never met and engaging the same in a working relationship that involved my intellectual, mental and financial resources was the highest risk that is built on trust and integrity especially in a polarized global society. 03/28/2023 Audiobook Network did a fantastic job with my new book. They scheduled meetings to keep me informed of their progress. They were interested in my opinions. They sent me updates so I wouldn't worry about the production. They also made personal phone calls. They also sent samples of their work until the date the audiobook was completed!
