      We reached out to Brinks Security Headquarters, and advised that the contract *** is claiming to have with us is under CRM until July of this year. We originally had a contract which took 5 years to pay off the security equipment. During this time, there were SEVERAL times that the cameras disconnected and wouldn't work. More times than not, they just wouldn't work. The records in our account support this. Techs came out several times unable to determine the issue. As of last year, we were told the equipment was actually recalled years before, yet we were never advised of that and left with equipment that didn't work. We essentially paid for a service for five years that we did not receive. June 5, 2024, ***** ***** with CRM came out and discussed with my husband about getting us the proper equipment, or working out a refund. At some point he had my husband sign something that we are now finding out was a contract for three years of service. My signature is not on it. We have no knowledge of this contract. We sold our house and would have never started a new contract. Now we are being told we *** $800 to get out of the remaining contract, which is absurd! ***** said that his name isn't on the contracts unless he sends it to someone in error, which he has done 100 times. Now conveniently, we are getting nowhere talking to him. We no longer own the home these cameras are at, and want out of this contract we had no knowledge of. The cameras also were off two weeks for no reason this month. This company is unethical, and not only should we not be bound to whatever this electronic signature is for, we could claim reimbursement for all the years of service that never worked. We just want out of this contract with no further paid to this terrible, shady company. It has been nothing but stress over the years. The only record we have on 6/5/24 is a request for them to access our account. We have no record of any contract or signing of one. This is wrong, and unacceptable!
