Its is a long story, more than ***** words, but the jest is that I take care of stuff for my mom. We took her car to Horne Auto Collision for repair. This was a 5 months process that ended up with my moms car not being fixed. We originally took the car in August 8th for an estimate. We weren't given a copy of the estimate, but it was submitted by them to insurance, who issued a check a few days later. My mom was told that they wouldn't be able to get her in until 11/1//2022.I contacted Horne later October and spoke to *****. I asked him to please order the parts needed so that my mom wouldn't have to wait once they got the car. After a lot of begging, he agreed. I called back October 27th to ensure that the parts were ordered and talked to ****, who said that ***** no longer worked there and that the parts were never ordered. I asked him to please order them. That was Thursday. He said not to bring the car in at 10:00 on 11/1/2022, to wait until he called us. I called back Friday and he said they were on the way. I called back Monday and was told he was expecting them that afternoon.Tuesday morning, my mom got a call that she was late bringing her car so she called me and I met here there to find out what was going. I asked to speak to ****, and was told he was on vacation. Again, the parts were never ordered, We were also told that if we didn't leave the car, that once the parts did come, they wouldn't be able to fit her until February or March. After more than 2 weeks and still no parts, I called and told them we would pick up the car and take it elsewhere. Before they released the car, we had to pay $815 for parts restocking, for them to put together what they supposedly took apart, not to mention she paid $400 out of pocket for a rental. There is much more to add, but Im running out of characters.
