My hotpoint chest freezer thermostat died yesterday, I called ****** where I purchased it. Since it was only 7 months old, under manufacturers warranty, I was told to contact ********. I did so, found that Digital Warrior is the contractor repair for ********. Numerous calls were made, both by ******** and me. Finally, after nearly 24 hours the call is returned. After several conversations with *********, I was told they don't service my area, 18 miles SE of **************. I am on a well maintained County Road!! I was told to load up the freezer and meet the technician in ************** and he would take care of it!! I am a 66 year old, single(widow) and I'm supposed to load up the freezer (full) and then unload it when I get home? Just so you, the contractor doesn't drive an extra 18 miles--wow!! **************** at its "best!" Thanks for nothing. Hotpoint will hear about this as well as ******.When I was finalizing the last conversation with *********, I commented on the review I would be writing. She sent a text saying, remember they didn't sell me the freezer! You are the only Hotpoint contractor repair in ** ** but you won't service east of **************. Pitiful!!
