Purchased an automatic wheelchair lift with a swing arm for my vehicle on 5/24/24. It was sold as used almost like new. The item is defective and does not go all the way to the ground level to get a wheelchair on it. Took it to another mobility place and was told it looks like it has been hit. Spoke with the owner of the mobility store today 7/9/24 and was told he would not give me a refund and was told to sue ********* of the mobility store said he contacted ***** on Grand and Bell in Surprise who issued a statement saying it was working fine. Only it was not the right Uhaul. It was installed by Uhaul at ******** and Bell. It took me 3 weeks to get the right hitch from ***** to be put on my car so the power lift ramp could finally be installed.I went back to the mobility store after the hitch was finally installed to show them the lift did not work properly. The owner was on vacation and would not be back till after July 4th. The mobility store emloyees said they could not do anything till the owner got back. The mobility store owner took photos of the lift and sent them to his mechanic in *******. The mechanic said to put a threshold on the lift to make it level. That does not work and I want to return the lift for a refund as it was defective from the day I purchased it.
