    On 01/06/2024, I rented a *** from Superior UTV Rentals for the day due to unavailability at my original reservation. While on the trail, we accidentally flipped the machine on its side, resulting in minor cosmetic damage. The employee assured me they would reach out with an estimate, emphasizing potential high costs only if the frame was dented or misaligned.On 01/10, *******, the owner, informed me they were getting the machine estimated. I finally received a call and messages from ******* on 01/24, providing an estimate of $3,325. However, suspicions arose as the date on the estimate was ****** out, and some details didn't align with the damages incurred during the *** flip. Notably, there was no information on the *** plate, only the machine's general name.Concerned about the high estimate, I called ******* back on 01/25. He explained that the cost was inflated due to the replacement of frame bars for scratches, but when questioned about the discarded parts, he admitted to throwing them out. Upon reviewing the initial estimate, I discovered the manipulated date (****** out) was originally 05/16/2023.In response to the discrepancies, I initiated a chargeback on my card for the $2,500 deposit. ******* had charged my credit card an extra $825, remaining balance for the estimate, which I haven't disputed yet. ******* contacted me via text and voice message on 01/27 after receiving the chargeback notification. On 1/29/2024, I called him back to discuss the chargeback, citing the outdated estimate as a concern. He promised to send the current estimate.On 1/30, I called ******* again for the correct estimate, but suspicions persisted. During our conversation, he revealed his ownership of Superior UTV Rentals but failed to disclose his that he's owner of the estimating company, ******* Powersports Apache Junctiona potential conflict of interest. I'm contemplating whether to file a police report for fraud or if BBB can help resolve the situation.

    hopefully the files went through,

    we attached the damage estimates, the contract and pics of the damages.

    ******* rented our offroad vehicle,  flipped it in the desert, and cancelled his credit card to pay for the damages.  they were 4900$

    we had the estimate done at a dealership, that i don't own or work at.
