In August 6th I called to cancel my account. I was instructed to send an email. I immediately sent the email. I was then charged for the months of September and October. I called the company and they said they did not receive my email. I then resent the original email so that there was proof of the original date. In the email I said I should be reimbursed for the two months. They were not willing to do that. So i reached out to my bank to be reimbursed. They paid me for the month of October. Now I'm being told that I owe the gym for past due fees and am being threatened with collections. I don't want to pay for something I cannot attend after I canceled months ago. I cannot go to collections, as my job will not allow it. Please help

      Business Response

************ just needs to ************* on her signed contract.  She has been extremely aggressive with her demands, when she has not lived up to her signed contract.  She claimed to send an email with her cancellation request that was never received.  When we simply asked her to resend the email showing the original date that the email was sent, she refused.  If she can just send the email that she claims she sent, as all emails are time and date stamped we will happily remove any unpaid balance.  If she cannot provide this cancellation email, she will remain in collections, as she has an outstanding balance on her contract.
