    On 02/10/25, I hired Built 4 U Sheds LLC to renovate my shed. A handyman from the company arrived at my property and charged me $800 via credit card. However, instead of completing the agreed-upon renovation, the worker left the shed in a damaged and unstable condition and did not perform the promised work.Since then, I have made multiple attempts to contact both the business and the handyman, but all my calls have been ignored. The company has refused to address the issue or return to complete the job. As a result, my shed now requires additional repairs beyond the initial service.Furthermore, despite not receiving the agreed-upon service, the company still charged my credit card for $800, which I am currently disputing with my bank. Given the damage to my property and the companys failure to fulfill its commitment, I am seeking:1.A full refund of $800 for the uncompleted and damaging work.2.Repairs to the shed at no additional cost or compensation for the additional repair expenses I now face.If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will consider pursuing further action, including filing complaints with additional consumer protection agencies and seeking legal recourse.I request BBBs assistance in resolving this matter.     I apologize for the inconvenience. We initially agreed on a labor-only quote, with you providing materials and paying at the end of each day. On 2/10/25, my handyman met you at **********, but the materials werent ready,causing a delay. He then made multiple trips to transport materials, picked up a garage door, and helped move gym equipmenttasks that were outside the original plan and took up more than half the day. Despite this, they removed all the exterior siding and left at 5:30 p.m. at your request, reinforcing the walls as needed. On 2/11/25, my handyman informed me that you requested additional work, which would incur extra costs and extend the timeline beyond our agreed two days. He also had to attend to an urgent task for another client. When I explained this to you, you denied requesting additional work and claimed the team worked only one hour, which confused me as they worked all day. This caused frustration, and he no longer wanted to work with you. I offered to charge $500 for the work already done and refund $300. You clarified the one-hour statement and asked for the team to return. However, my handyman was delayed with the other task, and I was unable to respond during a meeting.When I finally responded, you had submitted a complaint. As a resolution, we can either complete the original work, or we can refund $400 and only charge for the time and work already completed. Please let me know how you'd like to proceed.

    Subject: Urgent: Unfinished and Unsafe Project


    Dear BBB officer,


    Thank you for your assistance with this matter.


    The response provided does not address why the project was abandoned after barely starting, leaving the structure unstable. The handyman who assessed the work confirmed the instability and had to implement a temporary fix to prevent it from collapsing and come back first thing in the morning.


    The following day, when work was scheduled to resume, the team arrived only briefly, just long enough to collect their tool, before leaving without speaking to me. Despite multiple phone calls and text messages throughout the day, the contractor ignored all attempts at communication. Given the urgency of the situation, I had to engage another contractor immediately to ensure the structure was secured, as it is located near a public alley.


    Additionally, I have been left with the costs of returning the purchased materials, hiring someone to clean up the mess they left behind, and stabilizing the structure with a shed that still requires remodeling. Not only did the contractor fail to complete the job they were hired for, but they also caused additional damage and expenses that I am still dealing with.


    I have already notified my bank, and the charges have been disputed. I sincerely request that the contractor cease further contact regarding this matter. A full refund should be issued immediately, as the bank will finalize the dispute in 48 hours.


    I appreciate your prompt attention to resolving this issue.
