    We are a school district than submitted a public RFP for an auditorium projector to be installed at one of our schools. The company, Hypertec, was chosen as the awarded bidder for the installation of the projector project. However, Hypertec sub-contracted another company who then, additionally, sub-contracted a 3rd company to do the installation and when time came to install the projector, the proposal Hypertec submitted to include only $400+ for only 4 hours of installation and labor turned out to be over $15,000 and 5 days in installation without discussing any of the costs with us. ******** then, subsequently decided to pull out of the project and is trying to charge us with the $15K in labor costs when they signed a legally binding agreement with us under the bid to not exceed the approx. $400 worth of installation and labor. We are now consulting legal advice through our attorneys to resolve the issue. This review is more of a "beware" as these folks have not been pleasant to work with. They have even gone so far as to yell expletives at the owner of the 3rd time sub-contractor who is also submitting legal recourse against Hypertec to recoup his labor costs. Just be careful when doing any work with Hypertec out of ****** or Hypertec *************** out of Tempe AZ.
